Today's Katha Ankahee 28th April 2023 episode starts with Viaan asking Katha to give him the candidate list.

Katha replies that both she and Viaan have one candidate Vaniya in common on their list.

She tells Viaan that to get the project aggression is needed but in the long run, empathy and compassion matter and Viaan stares at Katha with an intense gaze.

Viaan asks Katha about what other things she thinks are essential for being a good employee to which Katha replies that resilience and patience are two other important things in life.

Viaan takes Katha’s words differently, suggesting that he is also trying to be patient.

Katha quickly detects the tone of Viaan’s voice so she clears her throat, saying that she is talking about employees.

To change the topic, Viaan suggests that he also takes the emotional intelligence test so he does not get left alone in his life while Katha just sits there with an indifferent expression.

Meanwhile, Kavita and Kailash are busy decorating the house for a family photo shoot which will take place in the evening.

Kailash tells Kavita that he will hold Yohan in his lap and Kavita shows mock anger to him, announcing that she wants to hold him.

In Earthcon, Katha and Viaan call Vaniya in for an interview and Vaniya impresses both Katha and Viaan with her confident answers.

Katha asks Vaniya why she prefers to do her things alone and Vaniya replies that she belongs to a small town and has learned to rely on herself as her mom is not stable.

Her reply stuns Katha yet she keeps grilling Vaniya with her strict questions and Vaniya replies excellently with her head help up high.

She then orders Vaniya to leave as she will call Vaniya in a few minutes for the decision while Vaniya keeps insisting she reveal the result, otherwise she will not be able to relax.

Vaniya then turns to Viaan, saying that she always has the dream to hear Viaan say “She can come to Mumbai”.

Katha’s eyes widen upon hearing this unexpected wish and Vaniya quickly gets up to leave as she realizes that Katha is irritated.

However, as Vaniya is about to leave the cabin, Viaan suddenly announces, “She can come to Mumbai” which makes Katha’s mouth hang open.

Vaniya starts jumping with joy but before she can go, Viaan asks her about the meaning of her name which for a moment makes Vaniya uncomfortable for a moment.

She quickly masks her emotion saying that her mom has given her this name and that her name is very identical to Viaan.

However, as soon as Vaniya leaves, Katha turns to Viaan with disapproval written all over her face since Viaan did not bother to take her consent.

Viaan meekly replies that he was thinking he and Katha think the same way yet Katha still does not let go of her disappointment.

She tells Viaan that she is going to Garewal's house for Yohan's puja and Viaan's expression changes into sadness.

Later that day, Reet burns with jealousy seeing Katha standing close to Kailash and Katha for the family portrait so she makes up her mind to bring Katha and Viaan close so Kailash breaks his relationship with Katha out of anger.

The next day, Tejji shows Katha a picture of a girl who has returned from the U.S.A and is a lawyer, asking if this girl is perfect for Viaan while Katha just looks at Viaan from her cabin without saying anything.
