Today's Katha Ankahee 2nd June 2023 episode starts with Katha asking Aarav if he does not have the same equation with her as Robin.

Aarav innocently replies that Robin is his best friend so he can share everything with him and that even though Katha is her friend, she is also his mother.

He also says that he does not know how to reply so he just lies his head on Katha’s lap while Katha ruffles his hair gently.

She makes Aarav promise that whenever something like this happens Aarav has to inform her also and Aarav just nods his head.

On the other hand, a big smile appears on Viaan’s face as he looks through the pictures sent by Aarav.

He feels warm inside as he zooms on the pictures to see the smile on Aarav’s face and the pictures have captured the moments when Aarav and his friends are gifting the shoes to their one friend.

Viaan then quickly calls Aarav to talk to him about it and Aarav confesses to Viaan that today's sons vs. fathers basketball match is happening with a gloomed expression.

Further, Aarav tells him that he cannot go since he does not have a father so Viaan suggests that they play their own game.

Aarav gets super excited upon hearing the suggestion so he starts buttering Katha to give him permission.

Looking at Aarav’s excitement, Katha softly says yes but Aarav does not hear it which is why he lowers his head on the sofa with a fallen face.

His excitement soon returns to his face when Katha energetically announces that she has given Aarav permission to go.

After Aarav walks away from the apartment, Katha plays an old song on her laptop as she goes to make herself a cup of coffee.

She then starts singing softly as the feeling of bliss slowly washes over her and soon she hears Aditya singing the same song.

As Katha turns around, Aditya tells her that he is finally free and that he was stuck as Katha kept him in her heart by tightening memory ropes.

Tears sting Katha’s eyes while Aditya urges her to open her heart since she deserves the love.

Aditya requests Katha not to feel guilty because he is just a memory for her now but Katha refuses, saying that she has loved Adi with all her heart.

She then falls on the floor crying and Aditya announces that love never dies as it always keeps growing.

He further states that there is a barrier between him and Katha which makes Katha recall the moment she said that it is hard to move on from break up.

Katha’s expression changes into a somber one when Aditya makes her understand that he is separated from her due to death.

She is unable to accept the request so she pleads with Aditya to stay with her since she does not want to stay alone.

Very soon, her sobs turn into hiccups while her eyes are fixed on Aditya who keeps telling her that Katha should give her heart to someone who deserves her.

He softly announces that Katha needs to live freely for herself and Aarav and that he always stays with her in her heart.

Katha watches with teary eyes as Aditya's figure vanishes and after a few moments of crying, she smiles through her tears.

On the other hand, Viaan is teaching Aarav how to play basketball but Aarav feels frustrated as he is unable to score any goal.

When Aarav goes to put the ball into a hoop, he feels nervous so Viaan quickly rushes to lift Aarav up and Aarav is able to score a goal.

Both of them then promise each other that they will always stay best friends no matter what.
