Today's Katha Ankahee 31st July 2023 episode starts with Viaan suggesting to Katha that she can call him by his name too if she wants.

Katha smilingly replies that she is not ready for this yet while Viaan expresses that he is going to eagerly wait for that time.

Tejji's emotional drama

Meanwhile, Tejji is sitting in her living room with a grim look on her face, recalling how Viaan abandoned her at the airport and how she has to tear the ticket in anger.

She looks up to find Viaan entering the house like a scared mouse but before Viaan can explain why he left so urgently, Tejji orders him to close his mouth.

On the other hand, Aarav is also pacing in the living room as he is unsure how he will talk to Katha about knowing everything.

He gets even more nervous as Katha walks through the main door yet he still somehow manages to behave normally around her.

Aarav informs Katha that he has a very important thing to discuss with her which confuses Katha since she also wants to discuss something with him.

She urges Aarav to say what he wants to say first but Aarav makes up the excuse that he is thirsty suddenly.

Aarav's innocent confusion 

Turning away from Katha, Aarav comes to the conclusion that Katha must have some serious topic to discuss so it is better if he let her talk first.

He then suggests that Katha explain what she needs to talk about and now it is Katha’s turn to get flustered.

She looks at Aarav concernedly, saying that Aarav is looking very pale so he should confess if something is bothering him but Araav suggests he makes hot chocolate for Katha.

He shows fake enthusiasm as he says that he will make hot chocolate for her and runs away from there before Katha can say anything.

In the meantime, Viaan glances at Tejji with apologetic eyes, stating that he knows that he has hurt Tejji very badly but a life-changing event has happened today.

Tejji, however, announces that Viaan must have a very important thing except her which is why he left, and that it is always the mom who is required to understand everything.

Viaan feels guilty after detecting the hurt in Tejji’s voice so he does not inform Tejji about Katha, instead, he lets Tejji walk away without any more words.

Meanwhile, Katha is confused about Aarav’s sudden change in behaviour when Neerja reveals how Aarav is disturbed because his friend’s mom is getting married.

This revelation makes Katha pause for a moment as it hits her that she needs to give Aarav some time to deal with it before she informs him about her relationship with Viaan.

Whereas Aarav is lying on his bed in the bedroom, thinking that he needs to tell Katha that he knows about Viaan and Katha.

He then brings out his phone and looks at a picture of him and Viaan, saying that he is very happy because now they are going to become a family soon.

However, the smile vanishes from Aarav’s face as he remembers how Robin has told him that Katha does not like him which makes him worried again.

KaViaan's new approach 

Later, Viaan calls Katha and they both come to the conclusion that they need to give Tejji and Aarav some time before they drop the bombshell.

Viaan reveals that Btaman AKA Aarav wants to find a special friend for Katha and he believes that “Chikchik” uncle is perfect for Katha.

Hearing this, Katha starts laughing explaining that Aarav calls Ehsan by this name while Viaan romantically urges Katha to arrive at Earthcon since he cannot stay away from her for longer.

Katha also teases Viaan about her boss being a very angry person which makes Viaan chuckle.

After he cuts the call, he excitedly informs Ehsan about it and Ehsan starts jumping around like a kid.

On the other hand, Tejji confides in Farah about how she does not want to see Katha and Viaan together.

She further reveals that Maya di has told her to accept KaViaan till Maya arrives here and Farah advises Tejji to wait for Maya’s instruction only.
