Today's Katha Ankahee 31st May 2023 episode starts with Viaan advising Amrita on the call to read a book that can teach them about babies' emotions.

After he cuts the call, his phone pings with a notification from the Parent-Teacher Whatsapp group about a girl not being obedient so her parents want to punish her.

Viaan responds to the text that punishment is not a good way of parenting, instead, the parent should talk to the girl to learn if she is facing any kind of problem.

Katha also agrees with Viaan about this but also gives an input that a parent should cut the kid’s fun time to make him/her discipline.

However, Viaan disagrees with Katha’s advice as he thinks physical punishment is not the only punishment, emotional punishment is also a thing.

This statement creates a conflict in the group as Katha and other parents support punishing the kids now and whereas Viaan keeps declining the offer.

Finally, Katha gets extremely angry when Viaan writes that he does not agree with parent no 2’s (Katha’s) tactics about disciplining the kids by punishing them.

She writes that sometimes kids do not want to listen no matter how soft they behave with them while she thinks to herself that Mr. Raghuvanshi is behaving as if he himself has a kid.

She even mockingly praises Viaan for having a very easygoing kid while she taps her foot continuously on the floor.

With angry tears filling her eyes, Katha writes that she thought this group is created so they can also share their opinions but parent no 10 (Viaan) can only share his opinions without listening to others.

Viaan feels guilty as he reads Katha’s reply so he apologizes to Katha for being too talkative but Katha does not respond in the group any longer.

Katha sits restlessly on her bed as her phone keeps buzzing with the notification from the PTA group.

The next morning, Katha enters her living room looking tired when she feels as if Aditya is here with her.

She turns around with her eyes closed and as she slowly opens her eyes, she finds Aditya sitting in the chair with a big smile on his face.

Katha tells Aditya cryingly that she is unable to decide anything nowadays and that she desperately needs Aditya to be here with her.

As Aditya just stares at her, she confesses that last night Viaan said precisely the same things that Aditya would say.

She says in a breaking voice that she accepts Viaan is a good person but the path he has chosen will only lead him to heartbreak.

Katha puts her head between her hands to sob when Neerja appears there out of nowhere and puts her hand over Katha’s shoulder.

As Neerja asks Katha what is wrong, Katha cryingly accepts that Viaan is doing everything that reminds her of Aditya & it is becoming tough for her to block Viaan out of her mind.

Neerja rubs Katha’s shoulder without saying anything and her phone rings simultaneously so Katha urges Neerja to take Viaan’s call.

Viaan informs Neerja that they need to meet the client regarding the shelter home project and Neerja quickly cuts the call.

Katha stands up as her eyes fall on Adi’s picture with baby Aarav.

Later, she gets notified that Aarav and his classmates are not eating anything from the canteen but when she asks Aarav about it, Aarav lies.

When Aarav meets Robin at the club, he confesses that he is feeling bad for lying to his mother.

Aarav reveals that one of his friends comes from the EWS section and that he cannot buy shoes to play basketball so he and his friends are saving the money to buy for him.
