Today's Katha Ankahee 4th October 2023 episode starts with Katha telling Aarav that the little boy's mom will very soon come back.

Aarav keeps crying his eyes which terrifies Katha so she tearfully urges Aarav to calm down because everything will be alright very soon.

She then makes Aarav sit down as she fetches water for him and Aarav starts coughing, feeling disturbed by the fake story.

At the same time, Maya whispers to Katha that she was just testing to see how Aarav will grasp this news so now she knows that Aarav will be shattered if he learns the real truth that it is his mother.

Maya admits that she was scared after seeing the determination in Katha’s eyes but now she knows for a fact that this truth will shatter Aarav completely.

Katha just stares at Maya with a horrified face while Maya smirks to herself, saying that now the choice is Katha’s only.

Hearing this, Katha stands there numbly when the nurse arrives to inform Katha that Viaan has woken up.

Maya gets happy while Katha orders Aarav to go home as she needs to discuss something with Viaan privately.

After Aarav walks away, Katha enters Viaan’s hospital room and starts telling him softly that she never thought she would fall in love with Viaan again.

She tells Viaan that she never thought she would have to come to the hospital again, but here she is, implying that she cannot be with Viaan anymore.

Katha clarifies with puffy eyes that Yuvraj already knows the truth and now they have to part ways which puts Viaan in a shocked state.

He begs Katha to reconsider this decision because they will make so many good memories after the wedding while Katha removes her hand from Viaan’s grip.

Watching Viaan crying and slowly having a breakdown in front of her eyes, Katha thinks to herself that she will always love Viaan from a distance but now she needs to choose Aarav's mental health.

With the last look at Viaan, Katha leaves the room in tears while Viaan tries to run after her but falls down on his knees in the room, sobbing uncontrollably.

He calls Katha's name in a heart-shattering voice, confessing his love for Katha whereas Katha also breaks down in the hallway and she takes some time to breathe in order to calm her racing heart.

When she stands up, she finds Ehsan standing in front of her who promises that he will deal with Maya's evil plans so Katha does not need to be scared.

He tells Katha that he knows about the one-night stand but Katha is in a shocked state to say anything so she just rumbles that Ehsan needs to stick to Viaan's side from now on while she runs out of the hospital.

Later, when Katha arrives at Garewal's house, Aarav excitedly shows her the chart that he has prepared for Viaan's homestay but Katha makes Aarav understand that from now on Dad AKA Viaan will no longer be in their lives.

This news breaks Aarav's heart and he starts asking Katha the reason while Katha just explains that one day Aarav will understand the reason.

Hearing this, Aarav gets upset even more so he decides to leave so he can find the answer from Viaan but Katha holds him back, begging him to trust her.
