Today's Katha Ankahee 6th July 2023 episode starts with Viaan meeting Katha in a park.

He excitedly tells Katha that his dance practice impressed Tejji very much and that he thinks that dance is a good practice after an anxiety attack.

Looking at Viaan’s happy smile, Katha nervously reminds him about how she told him something is bothering her, so Viaan calmly urges her to tell him what it is.

At first, she advises Viaan to remember that he has come very far from his past so now he should not go back to the same path which confuses Viaan.

She then reveals that she was curious to find out why Vaniya is so eager to be close to Viaan so she did a little digging and now she knows that Vaniya is Seema’s daughter.

This revelation causes Viaan’s eyes to widen in shock and he starts denying this as Vaniya has shared her family stories with him.

However, his face soon turns pale as he recalls Vaniya’s resume which has the Vaniya D written in it, and how Vaniya tried to talk to him about something personal.

He angrily starts yelling that he cannot believe why Vaniya has returned suddenly after her mom Seema has moved on since she does not recognize him or Viraj.

As Viaan starts breathing heavily, Katha softly reminds him that maybe Vaniya wants the legacy of Earthcon which makes Viaan angrier so he shouts that Vaniya does not deserve it.

He states that Vaniya is fired now so if she demands money he will give it but he does not want her in his life anymore.

Katha gets scared seeing the anger in Viaan’s eyes yet she advises Viaan to listen to Vaniya’s side of the story first as she recalls how Vaniya told her that she only knows half-truth.

At first, Viaan refuses but when Katha confesses that Seema also came to Earthcon acting very strange, Viaan stares at her in shock.

She nervously apologizes to Viaan for not telling him before because she did what she thought was right at that time while Viaan holds Katha’s hand, saying it is ok.

When Katha asks Viaan if he trusts her, he replies calmly that he trusts Katha more than he trusts himself.

This statement makes Katha pause for a moment and she bids farewell to Viaan who tries to draw some warmth from her by holding her hand.

Later, when Viaan arrives at Seema’s apartment, he accuses Vaniya of lying to him despite Vianya’s defence that she did not get a chance.

Viaan angrily replies that Vaniya should have told him the truth in the first place and he also shakes in anger.

As Vaniya tells that Seema was not at fault, Viaan announces sarcastically that his mom and she were the reason for Viraj abandoning them.

He states that it has taken him a very long time to reach this place because earlier he used to see every girl as a gold digger because of Seema.

On the other hand, Tejji wakes up from her sleep after hearing a thunderstorm sound and she feels worried for Viaan when she learns Viaan has not come home yet.

Meanwhile, Viaan and Vaniya stop talking when Seema suddenly pulls Viaan into a hug, calling him Viraj.

Viaan’s jaw drops in shock as Vaniya admits that Seema is suffering from last-stage dementia.

At first, he refuses to believe this but when he himself witnesses how Seema behaves like a lost child, he feels upset.

At the same time, Vaniya cryingly tells Viaan that often Seema forgets that she is her daughter while Viaan just stands there in utter shock.

In the meantime, Katha visits a gurudwara to pray for strength for Viaan hoping he is able to get his answers.
