Today's Kumkum Bhagya 12th May 2023 episode starts with Ranbir enjoying the feeling of Khushi holding his hand and telling her to always hold it while Khushi tells him that she always will. 

As Ranbir and Khushi sit to eat ice cream, Akshay and Prachi arrive there as well. 

Akshay requests Prachi to at least have ice cream because she has not eaten anything since yesterday. 

On the other hand, Ranbir gets emotional seeing Khushi by his side while Khushi tells him to not cry as her ice cream will melt if she dries his tears. 

In the meantime, Akshay forces Prachi out of the car and tells her to have something even a little bit. 

Rhea's soft spot for Prachi!

Meanwhile, Rhea is thinking about Khushi when Pallavi also joins her and shares the happiness of having Khushi back in their life just like a miracle. 

Pallavi tells Rhea that she will love Khushi a lot while Rhea tries to say something. 

However, Pallavi gets a call and goes to get it. 

Meanwhile, Rhea tells Pallavi that they are not the only ones deserving to love Khushi as Prachi deserves to know about her too. 

Rhea feels duty-bound to tell Prachi about Khushi who is her mother. 

Thinking about calling Prachi, Rhea recalls her promise to Ranbir and decides to break it to tell Prachi the truth because she is her sister.

Meanwhile, Prachi is not in the mood to pick up Rhea’s phone and walks with Akshay to the ice cream stall. 

Just then Khushi observes the balloon man and runs to get some. 

Afterward, Khushi challenges Ranbir to catch her and runs away. 

Meanwhile, Prachi walks back to her car and misses seeing Khushi behind the balloon. 

At the same time, Ranbir catches Khushi and puts her in the car. 

Just then Shahana and Dadi also come there but miss her by a few seconds. 

Meanwhile, Akshay keeps getting a call and on being asked tells Prachi that Ashok is not well. 

Prachi gets worried and tells him to go to Ashok as he needs him more. 

Later, Prachi tells Dadi that if she would not have been so calm she would have called Ranbir who loves Khushi a lot. 

She also tells her that if Ranbir knew that Khushi is his daughter then he will turn the world upside down to search for Khushi. 

Feeling guilty, Prachi tells Dadi that she is already uneasy about not telling Ranbir about Khushi. 

After a while, the inspector tells Prachi that they have circulated Khushi’s picture in all stations and informed at the checkposts too. 

Ranbir and Khushi to escape from the checkpost!

On the other hand, Ranbir comes across a checkpost where Khushi gets scared and tells her that they might be searching for her. 

Ranbir is not sure but decides to go with Khushi’s hunch and tells her to hide in the back seat. 

Afterward, Ranbir finds out that the police id looking for Khushi and holds his breath while the constable searches for Khushi in his car. 

However, Khushi has hidden too well under Ranbir’s coat and balloons and escaped being noticed. 

Elsewhere, the inspector tells Prachi to go home and wait for their call. 

Meanwhile, another lady from the orphanage tells consoles Prachi and tells her that Meera is a good lady and cares for all children a lot. 

She also tells that Meera only wanted the best home for Khushi and nothing more. 

However, Prachi tells her that if that is the case then her home is best for Khushi as she is her daughter. 

Meera gets angry and tells Prachi that everyone coming for Khushi’s adoption is claiming to be a parent. 

Prachi is shocked to hear the news and forces Meera to tell her who else is claiming to be Khushi’s parent. 

Prachi, Shahana, and Dadi get shocked to hear that it was Ranbir.
