Today's Kumkum Bhagya 17th May 2023 episode starts with Prachi getting shocked to find Shahana and Daadi in Kohli’s house.

Badi Dadi and Shahana tell her that they have come with Meera and ask them if they have told them anything regarding Khushi’s secret.

Shahana tells Prachi that Rhea must be aware of Khushi’s presence.

Prachi tells Shahana that it's high time they should think with their brains and not their hearts.

In the meantime, Inspector walks in and Prachi asks him about their investigation.

Ranbir tells them they are finding a child and not an object while Prachi taunts Ranbir for doing wrong to her throughout their life.

However, he taunts her back for never informing him about anything in their life.

Meera and Inspector take their leave since it has turned into a family matter.

Prachi tells the Kohli's that she has nothing to say to them as she has been betrayed by them time and again.

As Prachi turns to leave, she stops and warns Ranbir to pray for Khushi because if she fails in finding Khushi then the person will need to face the consequences of his actions.

Further, Ranbir tells her to leave as her presence is irritating him and his family members.

On the other hand, Akshay waits for Prachi and calls a spy to find a little girl soon.

In the meantime, Prachi, Badi Dadi, and Shahana return and informs Akshay about not being able to find Khushi.

Prachi walks to her house and remembers her moments with Khushi.

Akshay prays to the almighty to bless Prachi with happiness as he can take his happiness in return for her sake.

Prachi loses her imbalance and Akshay holds her just in time and saves her from getting hurt.

Akshay tells Prachi that he saved her as a friend but she walks toward Dadi and takes her inside.

Meanwhile, Khushi plays with Ranbir and jumps with happiness, and Pallavi, Vikrant, Dida, and Rhea are overjoyed seeing her happy.

Pallavi tells that her presence has lightened up their lives and brought joy to their doomed life.

Rhea promises Khushi that she will get her room ready by tomorrow.

Khushi tells everyone that she would like to spend her night with her Papa, leaving Ranbir joyful.

The Kohli’s joy knows no bounds as they celebrate Khushi’s presence in their house.

In the meantime, Akshay tries lighting up the atmosphere in Prachi’s house and requests her to not trouble herself.

Akshay tells Prachi that he will get Khushi back to her but gets a scolding from Prachi who finds herself helpless and weak.

Hearing Prachi’s words, Akshay promises her that he will find Khushi within the next twenty-four hours and tells her to have her trust in him.

Prachi thanks Akshay for being her support throughout and they hold each other’s hand in mutual admiration.

She jokingly tells him that she does not want to have tea and excuses herself.

Dadi emotionally asks Akshay if he meant his promise and he assures Dadi that he will find Prachi’s Khushi anyhow from anywhere on the planet.

In Ranbir’s room, he tries putting Khushi to sleep but she asks him to pat his hand and sing a lullaby to her while she falls asleep.

Ranbir tells Khushi that he is a bad singer and has no sync with tunes but Khushi tells him that he has immense love for her and that is enough.

They both fall asleep holding each other in their arms.

Meanwhile, Prachi concludes that Ranbir has some role in hiding Khushi but wonders about him hiding the truth about Khushi’s birth secret.

Prachi, further, says that she was forced to not tell him because Ranbir had moved on in his life and had a future with Rhea waiting for him and she could not ruin it.
