Kumkum Bhagya 17th October 2023 Written Episode Update: Kumkum written update

Today's Kumkum Bhagya 17th October 2023 episode starts with Prachi gazing at Ranbeer who is busy on the phone and then walks away from there while Mihika shows Divya that Prachi is not as innocent as Manpreet thinks. 

Just then Divya gets worried to see Manpreet who will expose her lie by telling Prachi that she did not ask her to make her favorite dish. 

However, Mihika does not get the chance to talk to Prachi as she gets on a phone call. 

Prachi goes into the kitchen and Ranbir goes into a different room. 

In the kitchen, Prachi makes preparations to prepare Khichdi when Sangeeta comes there offering to cook but Prachi tells her that Manpreet wants to eat Khichidi prepared by her. 

As Sangeeta leaves to give medicine to Vishakha, Ranbir comes there making small talk. 

Meanwhile, Divya asks Mihika if Prachi will feel the pain after getting burnt and if she thinks that they should do it. 

Mihika tells her that Prachi does not heed her warning and this is the only way to stop Prachi. 

On the other hand, Ranbir makes Prachi blush by asking her if she loves him. 

Prachi feels embarrassed and tells him to go while Ranbir tells her that he wants to be with her.

Mihika and Divya Runs To Save Ranbir

Sangeeta overhears Ranbir’s name from Mihika and tells her that Ranbir is in the kitchen. 

In the meantime, Ranbir tries to light the matchbox and declares it useless.

Prachi tells him to use the lighter which must be there somewhere but cannot find it while Ranbir offers to bring another matchbox from the temple. 

Prachi looks around for the lighter telling him to not bother. 

At the same time, Mihika and Divya come running towards the kitchen and stop Prachi just as she opens the knob. 

Realising that Ranbir is not in the kitchen, they ask about Ranbir and Prachi tells them that Ranbir has gone to get the matchbox. 

Mihika and Divya come running to Ranbir and walk away again thinking that Ranbir is busy on a call. 

Ranbir Saves Prachi

However, Ranbir realises that he has a lighter and goes back to the kitchen telling Prachi that he has one. 

Just before Prachi is about to ignite the lighter, Ranbir realises that the gas pipe is not connected to the cylinder. 

However, he cannot stop Prachi from pressing the lighter and a loud blast engulfs the kitchen right after Ranbeer jumps on Prachi.

Ashok, Akshay, Vishakha, Manpreet, Mihika, and Divya come run while staff and Ashok try to douse the fire. 

Later, Akshay and Ashok help Ranbir and Prachi to come out of the fire.

Prachi scolds Ranbir for putting his life in danger and always trying to be a hero while Vishakha tells Prachi to hold her horses as Ranbir is in pain. 

Ranbir tells Vishakha not to worry as this is Prachi’s way of showing concern to him. 

Mihika does not like Ranbir’s comment and walks out from there while Ashok looks at her thinkingly. 

Meanwhile, Akshay tells Abhay that Ranbir is constantly becoming a hero in Prachi’s eyes and he is turning into a loser or a sidekick.

He tells Abhay that he will have to think of something to become a hero in Prachi’s eyes. 

Ashok Becomes Suspicious

On the other hand, Abhay overhears Mihika telling Divya that she will continue her attempt to kill her until Prachi dies and also that she is behind brake failure in the car and today's fire. 

Akshay comes to Ranbir thanking him that he saved Prachi and also tells him that it was due to his help that he could come out of the fire. 

Later, Ashok comes to Akshay’s room trying to convince him to let Prachi take care of Ranbir and not get angry for that. 

However, Akshay tells him that he will ask for his advice when he needs him and sends him out of his room.

Later, Abhay tells Akshay what Mihika has done while Akshay comes barging in to confront Mihika.
