Today's Kumkum Bhagya 18th May 2023 episode starts with Prachi thinking that Ranbir is somehow involved in Khushi’s disappearance. 

Shahana also agrees with her and tells her that although everything looks normal yet something looks missing. 

Meanwhile, Prachi tells her that when she was trapped in the storeroom, she felt so peaceful as if her whole family is around her just as she felt when Panchi was born and she was sharing the moment with Ranbir. 

However, Shahana tells her that if Khushi would have been there, then she would have come out on her own to see her. 

Prachi thinks of the possibility and agrees with her.

Meanwhile, Ranbir wakes up to see Khushi sleeping beside him and sees Prachi sleeping on Khushi’s other side smiling at him. 

However, she is gone in the blink of an eye as it was just his imagination.

Meanwhile, Ranbir thinks about yesterday’s scenario and thinks that he should listen to his lawyer's advice and return Khushi to the orphanage.

He also believes that it will show him that he is a responsible father and they will grant him Khushi’s custody.

On the other hand, Akshay brings tea for Ashok and tells him about putting Sohail on the task of searching for Khushi. 

Just then, Sohail comes there too and tells them that they have increased the vigilance and have contacted many people and soon Khushi will be found. 

In the meantime, Pallavi looks for Khushi everywhere while Rhea tells her that she cannot find Ranbir anywhere either. 

Pallavi immediately calls Ranbeer and tells him to bring Khushi back immediately. 

However, Ranbir only says sorry despite Pallavi’s outburst. 

Rhea tries to calm Pallavi and tells her to have faith in Ranbir as Khushi is his daughter too and must have thought something before doing it.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is at a checkpost where the police are checking every car. 

Just then, Khushi wakes up and begins to cry seeing herself in a car. 

Meanwhile, Ranbir tells her that he is taking her to the orphanage. 

However, the police recognize Khushi and arrest Ranbir for kidnapping Khushi. 

On the other hand, Prachi gets ready to go search for Khushi when Akshay calls her to give her the good news about Khushi. 

Prachi feels overjoyed and immediately goes to meet Khushi while telling Dadi and Shahana that Khushi was with Ranbir. 

At the same time, Meera comes to the police station with the warden to take Khushi and admits to Prachi’s smartness in suspecting Ranbir. 

Later, Khushi comes to the police station crying and telling Ranbir to not go as she does not want to go to the orphanage. 

Khushi refuses to go while Ranbir promises her that no one will hurt her at the hospital. 

After a while, Khushi demands to talk to Prachi while Meera promises to connect her with Prachi soon. 

At the same time, Prachi arrives at the police station where she sees Khushi coming out with Meera. 

Khushi runs to her while Prachi hugs her with happiness and asks her if she is alright. 

Khushi tells her that she has gone to Ranbir’s house and he has not taken her from the orphanage. 

She tells her that no one is believing her and begs her to get Ranbir out of the jail if she really loves her.
