Today's Kumkum Bhagya 20th March 2023 episode starts with Ranbeer being clueless as to which dress he shall choose.

Just then, he gets a call from his colleague asking him the hotel to choose for their collaboration celebration.

Ranbeer tells him to cancel the bookings and ends the call.

He then calls Akshay, asking him if they can merge the collaboration party and his birthday celebration in the evening at his house to which Akshay readily agrees.

Ranbeer resumes his venture with the clothes when Pallavi arrives in his room, accusing him for not being dressed up.

She selects a black suit and orders him to wear it quickly, telling him how the flowers are remaining to be brought.

An idea comes into Ranbeer's mind as he tells her that he would arrange the flowers.

He calls Lali and asks her to bring flowers and Khushi to his house in the evening.

Lali initially refuses but immediately agrees upon hearing that the pay is Rs. 25,000.

Ranbeer is happy that Khushi will be accompanying him on his birthday today.

On the other hand, Akshay is getting ready for the party when Ashok comes to the place and asks where he is going.

After knowing about the party, Ashok asks him when he will be bringing Prachi as his wife to their house.

He then gives him the example of his own life where he lured his friend Katyal to get a job abroad and married the woman that initially Katyal liked, as Ashok himself fell in love with Akshay's mother the moment he saw her.

Akshay is amused by this example and tells Ashok that he would surely receive good news in the evening and proceeds to leave.

Meanwhile, Shahana expresses how Prachi is always tense after they have shifted.

Dadi reminds her that it is Ranbeer's birthday today and they both feel bad for Prachi.

Prachi remembers the sweet memories of her and Ranbeer celebrating his birthday together, sadly smiling.

She is pulled out of her thoughts with Dadi arrives at the place, informing her that Akshay has come to the house.

Prachi is confused upon hearing Akshay remind her that she has promised to attend the collaboration party with him.

She quickly goes inside her room to get ready while Dadi and Shahana playfully scold Akshay for lying to Prachi.

Later, Prachi enters in a sari looking beautiful while Akshay is unable to keep his eyes off her.

Dadi and Shahana tell them to hurry and leave for the party.

On the other hand, Pallavi and Dida are satisfied seeing the house decorated in silver.

Just then, Aryan comes running to the place and hands the phone to Dida, telling her that her sister is on the call.

Dida takes the call only to be asked where Ranbeer is.

She tells her sister that Ranbeer is getting ready for the evening and asks if they are going to come to their house.

Dida's sister replies in affirmation and tells her to keep it a secret that they will be arriving, to surprise Ranbeer.

Just then, Ranbeer comes to the place and asks them if he can also invite some of his business friends, revealing that his business is going to expand now.

Pallavi, Aryan, and Dida are overjoyed and mildly scold Ranbeer for not telling the news sooner.

Ranbeer is happy that everything is going well but seeing the "Happy Birthday" banner, he gets transported to the flashback where Prachi would lovingly prepare a cake for him and make his birthday special.
