Today's Kumkum Bhagya 23rd February 2023 episode starts with Laali angrily declining Ranbeer’s offer of handling Khushi’s studies as it is making her lose her money and asks Ranbeer to leave right away.

On the other hand, Dadi gets worried as Prachi has not come to the house yet meanwhile she hears the home bell ringing and hurriedly asks Shahana to open the door.

Prachi arrives and hugs Dadi while Dadi questions the sadness on her face to which Prachi expresses Payal’s incident who is Prachi's office colleague.

Prachi tells Dadi about Payal crying and running away from her without saying a word due to which Prachi feels bad and gets upset thinking about the reason for Payal’s breakdown.

Shahana asks Prachi to stop her overthinking while Dadi questions Prachi about her meet-up with Laali.

However, Prachi tells them that she still needs little more confidence to approach Laali for asking Khushi’s hand.

On the other hand, Pallavi requests Dida to tell her the truth about Ranbeer’s conversation with Laali, however, she declines while Ranbeer enters the house and sees them arguing.

Pallavi and Dida impatiently run to him and ask him about Khushi’s adoption proposal to Laali but Ranbeer tells them that he has failed to take over Khushi.

However, he states that he has realized that Laali is not Khushi’s mom.

Dida and Pallavi ask Ranbeer to bring Khushi to their house as soon as possible while Ranbeer tells them that he will arrange lawyers and legally take the case on his side.

On the other hand, Prachi visits Khushi’s house while she asks Khushi why she hasn’t worn Prachi’s brought clothes yet to which she replies that she wants to return the clothes to buy a new saree for Laali.

Prachi gets upset on hearing Khushi’s answer and she asks her to bring a needle and thread to knot Khushi’s torn clothes.

Khushi feels pleased to see Prachi fixing her clothes while Prachi asks Khushi if she will stay forever with her to which Khushi joyfully expresses her willingness to stay by hugging Prachi.

Meanwhile, Laali interrupts Khushi and Prachi's conversation and asks Khushi to finish up certain work due to which she goes outside while Laali asks Prachi for her reason to be here.

Prachi begins to elaborate on Panchi’s story and tells Laali that her loss has left her life full of emptiness however, Laali doesn’t show any interest in Prachi's story.

She tells Laali that she sees Panchi in Khushi’s eyes and wants to give her a well-nurturing life like she wished to give Panchi.

Meanwhile, a man who could be Lali's boyfriend asks Prachi to clearly tell what she wants however, Laali tells him that Prachi wants to take Khushi in exchange for handsome money.

Laali asks Prachi to give her time to think about Khushi's adoption.

Prachi leaves the house while Laali and the man cheer in happiness and begins to discuss their future goals.

Khushi comes back to the house from work and asks Laali about Prachi while Laali asks her to be within her limits and gives her another task to which Khushi nods and goes to do it.

On the other hand, Prachi’s car clashes with a girl and she falls down which leaves Prachi shocked.
