Today's Kumkum Bhagya 23rd March 2023 episode starts with Vikram telling Dida that Khushi resembles Ranbir/

Meanwhile, Prachi overhears Vikram and takes Khushi away to check on her.

On the other hand, Akshay tells Ranbir that he also does not want to look bad in front of his girlfriend who often insults him to his face which according to Ashok is a good thing. 

On hearing that Ashok knows about Akshay’s love interest and fully approves it, Ranbir calls him lucky.

He tells him it is very rare because a family never accepts the girl you love and even if they do marry by going against their family, the guy gets sandwiched between his wife and his family.

Akshay asks him how he knows about all this as if he has gone through all this to which Ranbir replies him with a yes.

Later, Ashok's call reminds Akshay that he has to propose to Prachi while Ranbir takes Akshay with him upon hearing that he is going to propose. 

Meanwhile, Prachi brings Khushi to her room and tells her how she resembles her in every way but then, Khushi gets a call from Lali and goes out. 

In the meantime, Prachi gets a call from Dadi and she says that Khushi looks like her. 

Dadi looks puzzled and asks who told her that while Prachi stubbornly tells her that she is saying that.

She also tells her about Vikram telling Dida that Khushi resembles Ranbir but he is wrong because Khushi looks like her. 

However, Dadi's words about competing with Ranbir make Prachi pause and she wonders if Dadi is right. 

Later, Ranbir asks Akshay why he is waiting when he has the ring and mind set on the proposal. 

On hearing that Akshay has already proposed three times and got rejected, Ranbeer concludes that the way Akshay proposes must be wrong as there is nothing wrong with him. 

Akshay shows how he proposes and Ranbir calls it a dry proposal while Akshay asks Ranbir to tell him what he should do. 

Meanwhile, Rhea expresses her happiness to Badi Dadi about meeting everyone after a long time. 

Rhea stops the car to buy a birthday cake for Ranbir while Badi Dadi tells her that she is glowing more today because she is going to meet the one person she loves.

Rhea feels shy and tries to deny it but Badi Dadi tells her that she knows what is in her heart. 

Meanwhile, Ranbir comes back to the party and asks Lali if he can put a projector there. 

Akshay asks him why is he not telling him what to do while Ranbir recalls the time when he proposed to Prachi which was full of bantering.  

Bringing him back from his thoughts, Akshay asks Ranbir to tell him how to propose to his girlfriend. 

However, Ranbir tells him that he can tell Akshay what he should not do but then tells him to from the bottom of his heart how he feels about her.

Ranbir also tells Akshay to make her feel that he can conquer the world for her as she is the only girl in the world.

Akshay gets the idea and tells Ranbir that he will practice on him first. 

As Akshay goes down on his knees and proposes to Ranbir, a waitress comes there and looks shocked. 

Seeing the waitress run, Ranbir tells Akshay that his proposal was so bad that she ran away. 

Akshay feels offended and tells Ranbir he will not understand his feeling but his girl will and goes away. 

After a while, Akshay goes down on one knee with a ring as Prachi stands talking to Priya.
