Today's Kumkum Bhagya 28th March 2023 episode starts with Prachi treating Akshay’s wound and scolding him for being so wreckless like a child.

Akshay says that Ranbir was right when he said that Prachi scolds a lot when she is mad and that she used to be angry with Ranbir the same way.

Prachi says that she has no right to be angry with Ranbir anymore as she only expresses her anger toward the people who are close to her.

Akshay asks Prachi if she considers him a close person to her which makes Prachi think and she says that she and Ashok have worked together for years and she has a certain responsibility toward him and the work.

Ranbir catches Prachi and Akshay together and starts feeling jealous but calms down a bit as Priya appears and Prachi asks her to continue dressing the wound.

Ranbir thinks that Priya might have taken a break from the treatment which is why Prachi was putting bandages on Akshay’s injury.

As Ranbir goes away, Aryan comes to him and asks him if he is fine with whatever happened outside a bit earlier to which Ranbir answers that he is at all fine.

Ranbir says that he is jealous after watching Prachi with Akshay which gives Aryan hope as he knows that Akshay is going to propose to Prachi soon.

Vikram comes and asks the same question as Aryan to Ranbir to which Ranbir presents the same answer that he is perfectly fine.

Vikram is about to tell Ranbir to do something when Akshay comes and asks Ranbir to look over the final preparations for his proposal.

Ranbir goes with Akshay to help him while Vikram and Aryan are left in confusion as to why Ranbir is helping Akshay to propose to Prachi.

Badi Dadi says that Ranbir and Prachi have moved on and do not have any feelings toward each other now.

After fixing the music and the projection of the proposal lines, Ranbir gives Akshay the rose with which he will propose.

Ranbir pulls Priya onto the dance floor with them and gets confused as Akshay brings Prachi too.

As Ranbir tries to push Priya toward Akshay, Priya walks away while Akshay sits on his knees in front of Prachi.

Ranbir gets shocked as he watches Akshay propose to Prachi in front of him and realizes that the girl whom Akshay loved was Prachi all along.

Prachi gets surprised to hear Akshay and asks him to come with her as she needs to talk to him in private.
