Today's Kumkum Bhagya 2nd April 2023 episode starts with Shahana telling Prachi that she has been with her for a long time and can even understand her silence.

Shahana holds Prachi's hands and requests her to move on with Akshay.

She reasons that she never got rest in Ranbir's love while Akshay understands her.

Prachi looks back at Shahana and mockingly tells her that she says she understands her and is saying all this.

Shahana tries to convince her while Prachi locks her out of the room and cries on the bed recalling Dida's words.

On the other hand, Ranbir talks to Rhea and tells her that he cannot speak to his family or else they will start blaming Prachi for it.

He states that she told him Prachi has moved on and Rhea interrupts him saying that she does not know if Prachi has moved on or not.

Rhea says that the good thing is that they are happy with the way their relations are and the way they are living.

Further, Ranbeer gets shocked as Rhea leads him to the hall and calls out for all the family members.

The family members arrive and Rhea tells them that they might be upset with what she is about to say and announces that she cannot marry Ranbir.

Seeing Rhea getting teary-eyed, Dida asks her if Ranbir said anything to her.

Both Ranbir and Rhea agree that he did not force her to refuse while Dida starts blaming Pallavi.

Rhea states that Pallavi has nothing to do with it while Dida refuses to listen to her and continues blaming Pallavi.

Badi Dadi tells Rhea that she can take her own decisions while Rhea states that she has decided she is not ready to marry Ranbir and leaves.

Dida tries to mock Pallavi while Pallavi says that she is proud of Rhea for doing what she did.

Pallavi says that Rhea found out that they announced the marriage to insult Prachi and make her think that Ranbir can also move on.

Elsewhere, Akshay keeps turning and tossing his bed as he recalls the moment he proposed to Prachi.

He tries to calm himself but goes from one place to other when he sees his father.

Ashok tells Akshay that he wasn't trying to snoop in and asks him why is he worried.

Akshay states that after proposing to Prachi, he is worried that she might have gotten upset with him since she is not picking up his calls.

Ashok tells him to not run the horses in his mind and tells him that Prachi would have rejected him right then and there if she had intended to.

Akshay continues thinking negatively while Ashok makes him sit down and tells him positively that Prachi must have been talking with her family, making sure that she can give him the answer.

Thinking positively, Akshay gets happy and talks about Rhea and Prachi being real sisters and Rhea and Ranbir's marriage.

However, Ashok tells him that he knows and to consider Prachi accepting his proposal.

Shahana talks to Dadi that Prachi is refusing to listen to them and Dadi says she knows no one can love Prachi and Ranbir like they love each other.

She says that one can live even if there is less love because it means there will be less pain and thinks this is why it is ideal that Prachi and Ranbir are separate.

Shahana requests Dadi to talk to Prachi but Dadi tells her that they will talk the next day when Prachi is calmer and more understanding.

On the other hand, Dida and Badi Dida talk to Rhea and tell her that she will suffer if Prachi returns to Ranbir's life.

However, Rhea reasons that she does not want to be the old egoistic Rhea and wants Ranbir to be with the one he loves and that she will accept if it is Prachi.
