Today's Kumkum Bhagya 31st January 2023 episode starts with Kaya telling Prachi about her manager being a bit rude but a good person while Prachi remembers her past.

Prachi tells Kaya that people show their true colors when the right time comes as she got to see some people in her past who hurt her badly.

Prachi excuses herself from the breakfast table while Kaya says that Prachi must have been hurt pretty badly by her closest person.

Ranbir calls Kaya and informs her that the floor manager has refused to open her room so she needs to come upstairs after which Kaya also leaves.

Meanwhile, Prachi and Priya reach Sahara Complex for their first day at work and ask the driver to go back or wait for them.

The security guard tells Prachi and Priya that they cannot park their car there because they need to take premium parking membership.

Prachi tells the guard that she will take the membership after talking to the authorities but the guard does not believe her and recalls Ranbir causing a scene.

The guard says that a man causes chaos every day, to which Prachi asks him to ask that man to talk to her as what he is doing is not right.

An employee named Satyendra (Satya) tells another employee that he was about to get a promotion soon but the new CEO sent by their boss ruined everything.

Prachi enters the office and goes into the meeting room while the male workers discuss how they did not expect such a young and small woman to lead them.

After the employees of a certain project gather in the conference room, Satya mutters something to mock Prachi but she asks him to remain truthful and honest.

Prachi says that Satyendra does not look happy about seeing her there but he replies that they cannot do anything against the boss’s orders in a sarcastic tone.

After the meeting, Prachi talks to Ashok about her first day at the office but does not tell him about Satya.

Satya says that he hates Prachi as she became the CEO because of her gender when he was about to get that position.

At the same time, Kaya and Ranbir enter the room with Kaya about to complain against the floor manager as he did not let Ranbir enter the room.

Ranbir stops Kaya and tells her that the manager will lose his job if she complains and that sometimes people have to adjust.

While Kaya goes through the documents, she trips on the carpet but Ranbir catches her from falling by holding onto her hand.

Kaya says that Ranbir is trying to come close to her like other boys which makes him mad and he leaves.

Ranbir and Kaya visit Kaya’s father for a meeting but Kaya does not talk to her father like a daughter.

Ranbir gets Aryan’s call and addresses him as “My Jaan (Life)” which gives Kaya the idea that Ranbir is talking to his girlfriend.

After Ranbir comes to join the family members in the discussion of Aryan’s marriage, Aryan signals to him that they need to talk alone.

Taking Ranbir to a corner, Aryan tells him that he does not want to marry and remembers Sahana from his past memories.
