Today's Kumkum Bhagya 3rd August 2023 episode starts with Ranbir feeling irritated as he hears Prachi asking him to stay away from her due to Akshay.

Ranbir says that Akshay should stay with her all the time if he is so much concerned about her well-being.

Prachi requests Ranbir not to stir up her life more than it already is to which Ranbir rolls his eyes dramatically and asks her to be thankful to him to save her precious mangal sutra.

Ranbir comes to Akshay and asks him to stand with Prachi after which he moves to the back of the queue making Prachi feel bad for some reason.

The inspector says that only a few minutes are left till the lock is undone when Shera and his men join the queue by disguising themselves into new get-ups.

However, Prachi recognizes Shera and tells the inspector that those men are among the robbers making Shera and his men take out their guns immediately.

The police point their guns at Shera and his men but Shera pulls Prachi toward him and makes her hostage by putting his gun at her head.

Shera says that he does not care about Prachi's death anymore as she has been ruining his plans since the beginning of the heist.

The robbers open the lock of the main door with the keys while Shera asks everyone to stay still or else, he will kill Prachi.

Ranbir and Mihika spot a gun lying near Akshay's feet and signal Akshay to pick it up so they can save Prachi but Akshay stands there silently with fear.

Prachi watches Akshay averting his eyes from her as she asks him for help and feels the reality creeping into her heart about her and Akshay's marriage.

Seeing that Akshay is not doing anything, Ranbir jumps toward the gun and asks Prachi to bend down as he shoots Shera in the shoulder after getting the gun in his hands.

Prachi stares directly into Ranbir's eyes and realizes that no one but Ranbir only stood up to save her and risked his own life.

On the other hand, Sahana spots Ashok, Vishaka, and Manpreet outside the mall and gets to know that Prachi and others are stuck inside with robbers hijacking the place.

The police come out of the mall with the gang members arrested after which Prachi, Akshay, Ranbir, Mihika, Abhay and Divya come out and reunite with the family members.

After meeting Ashok and others, Prachi spots Sahana and hugs her tightly while Ranbir greets Sahana and Prachi tells her that Ranbir and Mihika are engaged.

Dida spots Ranbir with Mihika and acts talking in a fake call after which she asks Pallavi to go home as Ranbir has asked them to do so.

Prachi goes with Sahana to her house while the others come back to Akshay's house where Divya compliments Ranbir for acting like a hero and saving them.

After everyone leaves, Ranbir asks Akshay to stop acting like a hypocrite which triggers Akshay and he comes to Mihika and asks her to tell Ranbir to stay away from Prachi.

Akshay says that he can clearly see that Ranbir is after Prachi but Mihika does not listen to him and tells him that Ranbir saved Prachi because he was too afraid to do it.

Meanwhile, Prachi feels her heart dwindling in confusion as she remembers her moments spent with Ranbir and Sahana comforts Prachi by giving her a hug.

Akshay says that he will prove that Ranbir is in love with Prachi while Mihika tells him to do as he wishes because there is nothing as per his wild imagination.
