Kumkum Bhagya 5th May 2023 Written Episode Update: Kumkum written update

Today's Kumkum Bhagya 5th May 2023 episode starts with Rhea overhearing Ranbir telling Aryan that Khushi is Panchi and goes to tell everyone. 

Ranbir gets worried and runs after Rhea to stop her but Rhea has already announced to Vikram, Pallavi and Daljeet that Panchi is back and she is none other than Khushi. 

Pallavi and others look overwhelmed and unsure while Rhea tells them that Ranbir has confirmed it through the DNA testing. 

Vikram gets excited and tells everyone that he knew Khushi is Panchi because she looked so much like him. 

Vikram asks Ranbir if this news is true and if he really tested for DNA while Ranbir tells them that it is all true. 

After a while, Pallavi asks Ranbir if Prachi knows about it. 

Rhea also realises that Prachi might not know and dials her number but Ranbir stops her and tells her that he does not want Prachi to know that Khushi is Panchi. 

On the other hand, Prachi gets suspicious of Rhea’s untimely call and wonders if they somehow know about Khushi’s truth. 

However, Dadi and Shahna assure her that if they would have known then they would have taken Khushi with them. 

Meanwhile, Prachi stops at the temple and prays to put everything to right now that she has returned her daughter to her. 

Elsewhere, Rhea asks Ranbir why is he stopping her from telling Prachi while Ranbir tells her that he has seen Prachi and Akshay together and she deserves to be happy with him. 

However, Rhea asks him what has Akshay got to do with this. 

Ranbir tells her that once Prachi finds the truth, she will take Prachi with her. 

He also tells her that he cannot let Panchi call Akshay Papa nor does he want to let Panchi go away from him. 

However, Rhea tells Ranbir that he is wrong and Prachi deserves to know about Khushi. 

Meanwhile, Pallavi supports Ranbir’s decision and tells Rhea to keep herself in her place and understand that they will lose Panchi again. 

Vikram also supports Ranbir and tells her that no one is stopping Prachi from meeting Khushi or loving her. 

However, Rhea tells Ranbir that he is being selfish by keeping the truth from her and there is a big difference between loving like a daughter and loving one's own daughter.

Later, Ranbir asks Rhea if Akshay will ever be able to love and bring up Panchi better than he can. 

Afterwards, he warns everyone not to tell Prachi about Panchi and tells them that he is going to the orphanage to meet Prachi. 

In the meantime, Vikram tries to convince Rhea that Ranbir is not wrong but she is still in doubt.

After a while, Prachi arrives at the orphanage with Dadi and Shahana and is asked to come select the children she wants to adopt while Prachi thinks it to be wise to keep the truth to herself.

Later, Ranbir comes down to leave for the orphanage while Vikram asks Rhea if she will come with them too. 

However, Rhea tells Ranbir that she cannot come with them until she tells Prachi about Panchi and asks her if they should also not adopt Khushi without telling Prachi. 

Seeing Ranbir’s indifferent attitude, Rhea tries to convince him to tell Prachi. 

However, Ranbir tells Rhea to swear on his life to not tell anything to Prachi and he promises to tell Prachi the truth later but not now. 

Rhea gives in to Ranbir’s request but tells him to promise about telling Prachi everything later. 

Later, Rhea looks surprised to see Vikram at home while Vikram tells her that he agrees with her but being Ranbir’s dad he is helpless to support Ranbir.
