Today's Kumkum Bhagya 6th August 2023 episode starts with Prachi feeding Ranbir sweets to celebrate their engagement announcement.

In the room, constant calls from Mayank make Mihika hesitant as she scaredly accepts the call.

Divya walks in and keeps praising Ranbeer while mentioning how Mayank is no longer in her life.

Mihika admits that she is happy with Ranbeer.

Mayank, who has been on the call all this while, furiously throws his phone, which breaks into pieces.

Realizing his action, he picks up his phone again to see if he can talk to Mihika and screams in agony upon hearing them.

On the other hand, Prachi is upset, talking to herself about Ranbeer's actions in front of Shahana.

She recollects all the moments they spent together and says that Ranbeer has changed.

Sahana interrupts her not wanting her to weep about the old memories and tells her to calm down and be happy that things have finally ended with no strings attached to Ranbeer.

Prachi is in denial that she is jealous of Ranbeer’s engagement news.

Shahana tells her to be honest with herself and accept the fact that she is jealous.

Before she can complete the sentence, Akshay walks in and interrogates them, asking whether they were talking about Ranbeer.

Ranbeer walks into that room to clear the commotion he caused in front of Mihika’s family.

Mihika understands Ranbeer's drastic decisions and is grateful to him for handling the situation smoothly.

Ranbeer is deeply thinking about how to make things okay.

Mihika, trying to save herself from Mayank, goes along with the engagement plan and asks Ranbeer to ride it out as it's just an engagement.

Akshay is interrogating Shahana and Prachi, asking what they were talking about and why they stopped when he walked in.

He is analyzing the tension in the room and asks what's wrong.

When Shahana accepts that they were indeed talking about Ranbeer, Akshay unravels his plot.

Prachi leaves the room, unable to hear Akshay anymore, leaving Shahana behind.

Akshay sarcastically asks Shahana to stay back and enjoy the wedding festivities.

Prachi and Ranbeer cross each other's paths in the hallway and start walking toward each other.

Prachi breaks the silence and says that she thought that he was here for her.

Ranbeer says that he thought there was still some connection between them and that's why he came.

However, Prachi says no, there is no connection between them.

Ranbeer painfully agrees that there is no connection between them stretching the awkwardness in the air.

An uncomfortable conversation between two old lovers, unable to speak their hearts out, is now standing in front of each other.

Ranbeer notices that she doesn't look happy even when she claims she is.

Both of them are unhappy with the paths they have chosen.

Prachi extends her hand to congratulate Ranbeer on his engagement.

Ranbeer pulls her close to say that he wants to forget everything about her now that there is “no connection” between them.

They are looking into each other’s eyes, unable to let go of each other, standing in silence, holding hands.

Prachi slowly releases her hand, and Ranbeer, heartbroken, starts walking away from Prachi in another direction.

Prachi looks at her hand that had just touched Ranbeer and grieves at the circumstances she is in.
