Today's Kundali Bhagya 16th August 2023 episode starts with Karan getting emotional after Dadi mentions Preeta and says that her absence has pained him so much.

Just then, Dadi reminds him that even when they remember her or take her name, Preeta always makes them feel her presence.

Dadi reminisces how Karan and she used to hate Preeta but eventually fell in love with her.

Rishabh agrees and says that she used to be the one to placate the fight between him and Karan.

Karan wonders thoughtfully and asks Dadi how she would feel if he brings Preeta back.

Dadi tells him that it will not be less than a miracle while Karan decides that it is time to take action and bring Preeta back by Kavya's wedding.

In the meantime, Shrishti sees Preeta in worry and asks her what she is thinking about.

Preeta opens up and says that her head gets filled with Karan Luthra's thoughts irrevocably.

Internally, Shrishti murmurs that it's because Preeta is having flashbacks of her memories.

Preeta also tells that she can hear Karan Luthra call her name in her dreams which drives her crazy.

To divert Preeta's attention, Shrishti makes the situation light-hearted by telling Preeta to think of her so she comes in her dreams too.

At Khurana's house, Shanaya complains to Gurpreet saying Palki needs a wardrobe change as she feels awkward stating big things about fashion in Luthra's house and then looking at Palki.

Daljeet and Shailendra get worried to hear Luthra's name while Palki assures them that she is just there to take care of Shaurya and Kavya's Dadi.

Shanaya says that she is going to design Kavya's wedding attire and says she also wants to give Palki a makeover.

Palki accepts it only on the condition that Shanaya will agree to go to the temple with her tomorrow.

Shanaya takes the challenge surprisingly. Meanwhile, Rakhi and Rishabh are leaving for somewhere when they get stopped by Karan.

Kavya also comes there and queries what is up but Rakhi and Rishabh lie that they are going to the mall to buy Kavya a gift for helping Rajveer.

Mahesh comes there while Shaurya and Nidhi watch the usual Luthra interaction from upstairs.

Catching Shaurya looking, Mahesh urges him to come downstairs and praises him for working so hard at the office.

Karan agrees and asks Shaurya to take a rest as today is Sunday which means a resting day after which Shaurya excuses himself.

Meanwhile, Nidhi feels that she has become a scaredy cat and gets petrified even at one small sound.

To avoid this, she vows to return to her old self which wasn't afraid of anyone or anything, especially Preeta.

At Khurana's house, Daljeet keeps babbling about how Shanaya isn't helping her in the kitchen and is busy giving Palki a makeover.

Just then, Shanaya comes there and says her work is done while a shy Palki comes out, wearing a pink suit and salwar which makes her look like a doll.

Daljeet gets extremely happy to see her daughters grow so beautiful while Palki drags Shanaya to the temple to complete her promise.

Back at Luthra's house, Rishabh comes to annoy Karan who is fiddling with a few files, and asks him to chill since he said it is a Sun-Day.

Karan chuckles as both the brothers remember how their house used to be filled with happiness and peace when Preeta was there.
