Today's Kundali Bhagya 17 Jan episode starts with Preeta getting unconscious as the jeep hits the tree.

The goons click a picture of Preeta's unconscious body to send it to Prithvi as proof of their work.

The moment Prithvi sees the photograph he becomes ecstatic and asks his goons to show him a live telecast of the situation.

The goons are afraid that the jeep may blast at any time putting their life in danger.

Still one of them takes the initiative of checking Preeta’s pulse to confirm she is actually dead.

At the same time, an electric spark occurs in the engine of the jeep which makes the goons jump in fright.

They leave the place immediately without checking the pulse, telling Prithvi that they are sure Preeta is dead.

Meanwhile, the flashbacks of memories wake up Preeta from her unconscious state. She realizes that she is chained up to the jeep which can blast at any moment now.

Preeta prays for her life so that she can save her family.

On the other hand, Karan, along with Sameer, goes to the police station to get Preeta out of the jail, unaware of the fact that the police inspector who arrested Preeta was fake.

Sherlyn talks to Prithvi about Karan finding out the truth.

Instead of getting worried, Prithvi laughs and thereafter explains his master plan to Sherlyn.

Sherlyn comes to know that Prithvi has planned to get Karan convicted for Preeta’s murder.

Meanwhile, Preeta keeps trying to get herself free. With one last pull, she succeeds in breaking the chain and jumps out of the jeep.

At the same time, the jeep sets to fire.

On the other hand, the police suspect Karan of being involved in Preeta’s kidnapping or even murder just like Prithvi had planned.

But the moment Karan brings Nagre into the conversation, the inspector gets alert and asks Karan and Sameer to accompany him to Nagreh’s house.
