Today's Masterchef India 7 20th March 2023 episode starts with the grand finale of MasterChef Season 7 as the top 6 finalists appear to compete one final time to get the winner apron of MasterChef.

The six finalists: Santa, Suvarna, Nayanjyoti, Gurkirat, Kamaldeep, and Aruna give each other the best-encouraging looks as they would compete with each other for the last time before one of them gets crowned as the winner.

The winner will be given the valuable apron of MasterChef along with the amount of 25 lacs which is great funding for their future.

PARTY PLATTER CHALLENGE

The judges give Kamaldeep back her apron after which they introduce the series of challenges that will lead the finalists to the winning position.

The first challenge is introduced to the home cooks as a party platter challenge where they have to make finger-fried food with a dipping sauce.

The home cooks get 30 minutes to prepare their fried food and dipping sauce.

Gurkirat decides to make a cheesy stuffed olive with a cheese sauce combined with garlic oil, Aruna makes a methi fried snack with tomato-garlic dip, Kamaldeep makes brinjal finger sticks with a matching sauce.

Nayanjyoti prepares chicken pops with a ginger sauce. and Suvarna sticks to her traditional roots and makes chips with a mango dip.

Gurkirat wins the first challenge as his cheese-stuffed olives impress the judges with their textures which gives him an advantage in the next challenge.

SIX TASTE CHALLENGE

The judges introduce the second challenge of the day to the home cooks and reveal the advantage gained by Gurkirat.

In this challenge, the home cooks have to blend in the six tastes of food: spicy, sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and astringent.

Gurkirat gets an advantage where he can stop any home cook from cooking for 5 minutes in the first 45 minutes.

The hero ingredient for this challenge is Amul salted butter which the home cooks have to highlight in their dishes.

Santa and Nayanjyoti decide to make use of the banana flower for the astringent flavor.

Suvarna decides to make a prawn dish with a sweet and sour sauce while Kamaldeep shows a unique thought with her idea of layering all six types of tastes.

Gurkirat decides to use his advantage on Santa and stops her from working for 5 minutes in the entire 60 minutes of the challenge.

Aruna decides to focus on her plating more as she wants to present her dish with her utmost skills.
