Today's Masterchef India 7 23rd January 2023 episode starts with the chefs taking the home cooks to Goa as they will be competing against each other this week amidst the beautiful beaches of Goa.

The chefs tell the home cooks that today they will complete their dish in 3 rounds and has to prepare a dish relating to the history of goa from any four ingredients given in the mystery box.

The mystery box reveals the ingredients which the Portuguese imported into India. The dish to be prepared has to be innovative and should not be an Indian dish.

In the first round of 30 minutes, the home cooks have to put an innovative idea in their dishes after which 3 contestants will be disqualified from the future rounds without even getting their dish tasted if they do not stand up to the innovation mark set up by the chefs.

At the end of the 2nd round of 30 minutes, the home cooks have to completely prepare their dish as their presentation will be evaluated and again 3 home cooks will get disqualified without getting their dish tasted.

The remaining 6 contestants will present their dishes to the chefs and their dishes will be judged on the basis of taste at last only 2 contestants will win the round and earn a very important advantage.

THE TIME STARTS

The judges go to each contestant individually and start inspecting their dishes as they are preparing them.

Garima says that some of the contestants are still playing according to their strengths which is contrary to the theme of the day which is innovation.

Ranveer says that Nayanjyoti is making a unique innovative dish using cashew nuts.

Garima asks the home cooks to step out of their comfort zones and prepare a dish that reflects their past beautifully in an innovative way.

RESULT OF THE FIRST ROUND

Kamaldeep, Avinash, and Santa are disqualified from participating in the future rounds of the day as their dishes fail the innovation test.

The chefs ask the home cooks to get back to work and this time the sole characteristic that will be judged is "presentation".

The home cooks continue cooking for the second round after which 3 of them will be disqualified again.

RESULT OF THE SECOND ROUND

Gurkirat, Sachin, and Deepa are disqualified from participating in the last round of the day.

The third round is the round when the chefs are going to taste the remaining home cook's dishes and choose the best dish which ticks all the marks of the challenge including innovation, presentation, and taste.

TIME TO TASTE THE DISH

Aruna comes first before the judges and presents her dish called "Canopy with Potato Leaked Soup" The chefs find her dish very tasty however they say that Aruna should not have used beans in her presentation as it is not a part of her dish.

Nayanjyoti comes next with his dish called "Cashew and Pineapple Tart". Ranveer says that he had high expectations from Nayanjyoti but he failed to bring a lot of innovation to his dish.

Priya presents her dish called "Potato Pave with Cashew Cream." The chefs say that it is one of her best dishes so far.

Suuvarna is next who has prepared "Cashew Chicken Cake". The chefs find her presentation very delightful but feel that the spice content was not balanced in her dish.

Vineet comes next with his dish called "Voyage". Vineet has portrayed Portugal's voyages to India through his dish.

The chefs feel that Vineet's dish is rich in story and innovation but it lacks the sauce which he has prepared.

"Deconstructed Upside Down Pineapple Cake" is presented by Priyanka before the chefs.

Her dish is very innovative and is good in presentation as well.

The chefs find everyone's dish very tasty even though every dish had its own limitation.

TIME FOR THE RESULTS

The two contestants who prepared the best dishes of the day are Priyanka and Priya and have won the untold advantage of the day's challenge.
