Meet 21st August 2023 Written Update: Meet Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet written update

Today's Meet 21st August 2023 episode starts with Sumeet standing in the streets of the brothel while Shlok, imprisoned in Shagun's car screams out, but to no avail.

Meanwhile, during the celebrations of the Teej, Poonam prays to god for Sumeet's safety.

Back on the street, things intensify for Sumeet when two goons come up to her.

Sumeet in an awkward position, covers herself and tells the goons to leave her alone but they keep harassing her continuously.

On the other hand, Shagun adds fuel to Shlok's rage at seeing Sumeet getting harassed that too on Teej.

She ultimately steps out of the car and stands, watching Sumeet being harassed and sadistically smiles.

One of the goons takes out cash telling Sumeet that for her he'll do everything and forcefully holds her hand.

Sumeet lets free her hand from him and screams out for help and approaches a glittery lady.

The glittery lady tells that Sumeet can't misbehave with the customer and tells the goon to try her instead.

The goon tells the glittery lady that he's not in the mood to try her out but wants Sumeet for the night.

The goon comes up to her and tells them that since she's begging for help, he will help her.

He again holds her but Sumeet hits him and runs to the nearby poster.

Flashbacks of Akki suddenly come to her mind and she realises that she has to figure out something.

Sumeet then sees a bike approaching and saves a girl from getting hit and in the process, she falls into a mud pit.

The girl extends out her hand for help and agrees to help out Sumeet, calling two friends of hers.

The goons threaten the girl and her friends to be out of their way but the girls hit him while  Sumeet throws a bucket of mud on them after which the goons come to hit the girls.

The glittery lady, no other than the girl's mother comes and holds the goon by his collar.

She shouts at him for trying to hit her daughter but gets pushed brutally away.

The goons come to Sumeet now, but they fall in the mud following which Sumeet grabs a stick and beats them.

The other people join Sumeet too, beating the bones out of the goons while Shagun is all disturbed and Shlok unties himself to escape from the car.

On the other hand, the goons beg for forgiveness from Sumeet and the other women wash Sumeet off with water.

Shlok asks Sumeet if she's fine and scolds the goons for treating women badly while Sumeet then dolls up the goons in women's attire the same time urging the mothers to let their daughters study.

Everyone claps for Sumeet and Shlok apologizes for leaving Sumeet all alone and promises to stay by her side as he covers her with his jacket.

The couple walks away while Shagun from the other side plans to take her revenge anyhow.

Back at Masoom's, Vaani stumbles on her torn lehenga as per Abhay's plans to kill her baby.

Back at Chowdhury's, Shlok informs everyone about Shagun's horrible plan of taking Sumeet to the brothel streets.

Pankhudi terms Sumeet as the troublemaker of the household following which Poonam gives her a tight slap.

Poonam defends Sumeet and at the same time accepts Sumeet as her daughter.

She seeks Sumeet's forgiveness following which they emotionally embrace to the family's relief.

Afterward, Shlok and Sumeet come all decked up for Teej while Anju tries to call up Akki.

Anju worries about not being able to talk with Akki but Dadi asks her to try again the next day while Sumeet worries again about Akki being with Shagun unbeknownst to them.
