Meet 5th April 2023 Written Update: Meet Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet written update

Today's Meet 5th April 2023 episode starts with everyone staring at the sharp swords and T-shirts printed with violent words like "गुंडा".

Gunwanti and Shagun express their shock by asking what Meet has to do with them.

Jashodha is angry, asking if Meet's maternal family think so low of the Sangwan family to send such taunting gifts.

Meet tries to explain herself when she realises that the issue has something to do with the anklet she had found at night.

She tells Jashodha that somebody has forged her gifts before the ceremony while staring at Shagun.

Jashodha loses her temper as she tells her that she has had enough, pulling her towards Manmeet

Manmeet is confused as he asks her what she is up to, only to get her order to take Meet back to her maternal house.

Imarti eases this commotion by bringing Meet's belongings and tells Manmeet to take Meet away.

Shagun snickers while Manmeet observes the pair of bangles that Imarti has worn, doubting something.

He then tells out aloud that Meet will not go anywhere as her gifts have been forged and that the culprit is their very own Imarti.

Manmeet explains to everyone that he clearly remembers the pair of bangles that Imarti is wearing to be the ones amongst the gifts that Meet's family has sent.  

Imarti stutters and blames Shagun for everything, saying that she had seen her forging Meet's gifts and only took the bangles for herself to wear.

Shagun is horrified seeing Manmeet stepping towards her, trying to explain herself only to hear Manmeet's dangerously telling her to be quiet.

He then turns to Meet and sincerely apologizes Meet in front of everyone, requesting her to stay.

Meet quietly goes to her room as the misunderstanding subsides.

Jashodha is mortified by the turn of events, about to leave when a little girl approaches her, asking for Meet.

Jashodha and Sapna understand that Meet did keep a fast for the ceremony by giving all her food to the little girl, who has come to thank her.

Jashodha walks towards the deities prepared by Meet and observes them, also finding Meet nearby.

Jashodha gently tells Meet that she should pray to Mother Gauri for Manmeet and herself to be together, saying that Manmeet and Meet are meant to be.

Meet sighs and tells her that she will never pray to Matarani, wishing to separate the two lovers.

They both join the ladies who have assembled to break their fast.

Jashodha orders Shagun to leave Sarkar Mahal till the marriage date is fixed as her staying in the house will be considered inappropriate.

Meanwhile, Manmeet angrily asks Shagun to explain herself and she starts to tear up.

Narendra welcomes Sarkar when a servant accidentally drops water on Sarkar's shoes.

As Narendra wipes his shoes, Sarkar is surprised to find two similar faces in a newspaper nearby.

He is enraged to find a small condolence poster of Meet's parts and roars out Manmeet's name.

Manmeet thinks of telling the truth to Shagun but is interrupted by Sarkar's call and rushes to meet him.

Sarkar stares at Manmeet coming towards him and throws the newspaper at him.

Manmeet is utterly shocked as he realizes that Sarkar knows everything.

He requests Sarkar, telling him to give him some time as he has promised Meet's parents.

Sarkar asks him if he remembers the promise that he has given to Shagun.

Upon seeing Manmeet's confused face, Sarkar slowly tells him that he and Shagun have been married while they were children.
