Tribute to the Legends

Today’s Saregamapa 26th August 2023 episode starts with Aditya Narayan introducing the judges and commencing the auditions.

The episode starts with giving tribute to all the existing singers who are legends in their own way and have impacted everyone’s life.

Aditya Narayan being the anchor of the show introduces the show and all the contestants waiting for their beautiful journey to start.

Neeti Mohan, Anu Malik, and Himesh Reshamiya join the stage with a grand entry and commence this season with a huge smile on their faces.

Vijaylakshmi sings Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Further, Neeti Mohan and Anu Malik sing a song to introduce the very first contestant of this season, Vijaylakshmi who has never performed on a stage before and it’s her first audition.

To motivate Vijaylakshmi, Neeti asks everyone to close their eyes and tells them to only open them when they like her voice.

Vijaylakshmi owns the stage in the very beginning with her voice and sings ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ song’, forcing the judges to open their eyes since they can’t resist seeing her performing with so much grace.

Just when Vijaylakshmi is about to finish her song, Himesh Reshamiya rushes to the stage and makes her wear the medal, indicating her selection while Neeti hugs her tightly getting emotional.

Anu Malik compliments her for singing the male song so beautifully in her voice and he emphasizes her high pitch.

Judges get emotional

Rick Basu, the second contestant enters when Himesh questions him about his motive behind this show and he reveals that he wants his love back through his voice.

However, Rick performs with so much sensitivity in his voice making everyone emotional, and gets emotional himself at the last when the judges end up selecting him.

Further, a video is shown that showcases a heart-touching relationship of a brother and sister who can even die for each other.

Nistha appears as a third contestant while the judges enjoy Nisha's sweet voice, forcing Neeti and Himesh to stand on their feet to appreciate her.

Neeti immediately runs to Nistha with a medal since they can’t afford to lose a singer like her who has ‘Nazakat’ in her voice and Neeti announces that she’s a finalist in her eyes.

Himesh gives a challenge to the contestants and Raunita accepts it when Neeti chooses the ‘Aji rooth kar ab kahan jaiyega’ song sung by Lata Mangeshkar, and Raunita accepts it.

Himesh gets emotional with her jaw-dropping performance when Anu Malik asks Himesh to express his feelings since he’s so emotional and Neeti Mohan gives her the medal that everyone craves.

Neeti Mohan gives a rose to Albert

Afterwards, Himesh suddenly brings a contestant, Albert onto the stage, giving him the opportunity to perform directly without his turn.

Albert performs the ‘I LOVE YOU’ song with a sweet, gentle smile on his face, making every girl fall for him.

The judges feel connected and give him a medal while Neeti Mohan even gives a rose to him.

In the meantime, Neeti asks Albert about him when he calls his wife, making everyone blush with their love story and the couple reveals the incident one month back when they lost their 1-month baby girl.

Neeti consoles Albert's wife as she seems to be broken inside out but ends up making the couple smile while the audience gets very emotional.

Next comes, Anmol who’s a loving soul and performs the 'Ikk Kudi' song treating everyone's ears but Anu Malik isn't impressed by him yet Anmol gets selected.
