Shark Tank India 2 6th January 2023 Written Update: SharkTank India 2023

Today's Shark Tank India 2 6th January 2023 episode starts with the Sharks eagerly waiting to hear new pitches and business ideas.

Winston Smart Beauty Appliances

The first pitchers of the episode appear to be Himanshu and Nikita, a married couple who are the co-founders of Winston.

Winston is a company that manufactures smart beauty appliances like face trimmers, face serums, rollers, led face masks, etc.

The confident attitude of the married couple makes the sharks interested and they find it amusing that they got married through an arranged marriage.

Nikita and Himanshu demand 1 Crore at 4 % Equity in their company with a valuation of 25 crores in total.

Aman Gupta gets impressed hearing Nikita's entrepreneurial story as he only started his journey like her.

However, the Sharks raise the question that even if the products are good, they are a bit costly and are made in China which is a degrading factor for them.

The products cost between 2000-3000 rupees from Winston Smart Beauty Appliances.

Namita Thapar gets out of the deal while Anupam Mittal gets a bit agitated upon hearing the GST explanation from Himanshu.

Still, Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh put forward an offer where they agree to give 1 crore for 10% equity in the company.

Himanshu and Nikita lock the deal and receive funds worth 1 crore in exchange for giving 10% of their company.

Flatheads Shoe Company

Ganesh Balakrishnan comes to pitch for his shoe company Flatheads which Vineeta Singh instantly recognizes as a famous brand.

Ganesh introduces his company as a shoe brand that manufactures shoes made of banana fiber, bamboo material, and linen.

The shoes allow perspiration and do not let the feet sweat which is one major problem in India.

On being asked about his life and career, Ganesh explains his journey as a marketing and businessman who has worked with many companies.

But, at the same time, the Sharks get to know about the failures of Ganesh over the years.

One Flatheads shoe costs about Rs. 1000-5000.

Ganesh asks for 75 lakhs at 4% equity after telling his annual sales as 3.4 crores.

As Anupam Mittal asks Ganesh about the company equity division, he reveals that 33% of equity belongs to angel investors, 30% to himself, and 30% to his co-founder who has decided to withdraw.

Ganesh reveals that the company is on the verge of closing down due to the monthly burn.

All the Sharks step out of the deal except Peyush Bansal who offers 1 Crore for 33.3% equity of the company.

However, Ganesh decides that he will not accept the offer and build everything from scratch as he wants to reassess everything he has done for the company.

Ganesh cries in front of the Sharks, making everyone emotional and they wish him the best of luck for his future.

Organic Smokes Pitch

For the last pitch of the day, three co-founders of the company named Organic Smokes come to Shark Tank to replace smoking with healthy smoking!

Gaurav, Nitin, and Piyush introduce themselves with a rap which excites the sharks to hear their pitch and make a decision.

They demand 1 crore for 1% equity which shocks the sharks as the valuation reaches 100 crores.

Organic Smokes cost about 250 Rupees for each packet.

The founders claim that their cigarettes are healthy and do not harm the body at all because they are made up of medicinal herbs.

Namita Thapar jokes that the founders look like Gabbar which makes everyone laugh.

Though the last month's sales of 40 lakhs excite the sharks a bit, all the sharks decide to be out as they do not find their expertise in that area.

Organic smokes return without receiving any offers from any of the sharks.
