Teri Meri Doriyaan 17th March 2023 Written Update

Today's Teri Meri Dooriyaan 17th March 2023 episode starts with Gurleen coming into Sahiba's room with dresses and ornaments for her to wear for the reception.

Sahiba eyes the materials and then requests Gurleen to take them back since she doesn't want to attend this reception.

Gurleen lets Sahiba know that she understands how hurt she is after seeing her mother, Santosh, get humiliated but also advises her to not let the matters reach the Media. 

Gurleen further says that Sahiba is a part of this household now but Sahiba asks her how is this possible when Angad doesn't consider her as his wife along with Manveer who doesn't consider her as her daughter-in-law.

Sahiba asks Gurleen to take all these things back while Gurleen worries about the Brar family's reputation since Biji gave her the responsibility to bring Sahiba downstairs.

On the other hand, Angad stares at Seerat's photo on his mobile and a few tears escape his eyes until someone knocks on the door and he wipes them instantly.

The staff brings the attire for Angad to wear at the reception and he receives it.

However, when there is another knock on the door, Angad gets furious and yells as if now, he also has to parade around in the new clothes.

Veer walks in weakly and tells Angad it is him, consoling him to forget the past and move on.

Angad tells Veer that he has no interest in this marriage or Sahiba while Veer tries his best to console Angad's anger by telling him to quickly heal this wound, otherwise, it will pain further.

Angad says that behind all the decorations, he has to smile fake and hide his pain.

However, when he turns around, he punches his hand against the dressing table, stating if he doesn't express his anger somehow, he will suffocate.

Veer hugs Angad from behind and cries to see his brother in pain, threatening to make his ears bleed by singing a song with his awful voice.

Angad smiles lightly and asks Veer to go.

Meanwhile, Daar Ji tells Japjyot to smile and not increase Angad's pain by being sad herself.

He cheers her up while Rabjyot comes in, and tells Daar Ji that Sahiba hasn't come downstairs.

Rabjyot complains that Sahiba is acting like a Queen by denying all the fancy dresses and expensive jewellery given to her when she isn't even worth them.

Angad hears this and goes directly to confront Sahiba about her denial of not attending the reception.

Meanwhile, Daar Ji scolds Rabjyot, stating that before blaming Sahiba, she herself should do some soul search since Sahiba has one thing, which is self-respect, unlike others in this house.

Angad goes to Sahiba's room and asks her why she isn't ready yet to which she replies that since he doesn't even regard her as his wife or Manveer regards her as a daughter-in-law, how she should get dressed and walk into the reception.

Angad accuses Sahiba of taking revenge due to Santosh but Sahiba asks him to not blame her always while he tells her that Brar is not only a family name but a brand that they cannot see crumble down in front of the elites.

Sahiba tells him that she will come but not in these fancy clothes when they are not her identity.

Meanwhile, Gurleen informs Biji that Sahiba didn't deny coming to the reception but refused to wear the clothes they gave her.

Rabjyot taunts that the saying is true of giving gold to the poor, but still, he will not accept it.

Akaal gives her a glare while asking Rabjyot to go and request Sahiba but she denies doing it.

In Sahiba's room, she lets Angad know that she is not his property but Angad forces down the bangles on her hand while she struggles back.
