Today's Teri Meri Dooriyaan 23rd May 2023 episode starts with Angad asking Sahiba to trust him since this is a good way to give Seerat and Gary a fresh start.

She announces that Gary has ruined Sahiba’s life once while Angad replies that he has already understood Gary’s psychic.

Hearing this, Sahiba sees red in anger, stating that today Angad has proved to her that he does not know Gary’s character at all as blood always takes its own side.

Angad makes it clear that he has just given a proposal to the families so Sahiba should stop yelling at him for no reason.

She announces that she is there to support Seerat through all this when Angad informs her that he is doing this for Seerat’s own happiness.

Meanwhile, Jaspal tells everyone that Angad has asked them for his birthday present so they should really consider this.

Daar Ji also announces that Angad has logic in his words which is why they should agree to marry Gary to Seerat.

Inder whispers to Manveer that controlling the Brar family was not enough for Akaal as now he is deciding things for Sahiba's parents.

Santosh speaks up, claiming that they need some time to think about this decision while Ajeet thanks everyone for inviting them to Angad's birthday party.

Seerat also quietly leaves the Brar mansion with a sad expression on her face and Hansraj mutters that already one lower-class girl was living with them but now another one will come.

After the Monga family leaves, Sahiba furiously arrives in the living room, announcing that she will not let Seerat marry Gary again.

Once Sahiba stops talking, Japjyot urges her to calm down, saying that she knows Sahiba is upset with Angad while Daar Ji announces that the Brar family is ready to give one last chance to Gary.

However, Inder stands up, announcing that Angad's decision is irrational as the marriage is always between two mature people but neither Gary nor Seerat are mature in this.

He clarifies that Seerat has no brain since she has no idea about what she wants and Manveer also tells Angad that she does not want Gary to be anywhere around Angad.

Sahiba again announces that they should not debate as she knows that her family will deny this when Inder orders her to stay silent as he is talking to Angad.

Afterward, Sahiba walks out of the Brar mansion in frustration while Angad follows and orders her to get into the car.

When they arrive in front of the Monga house, Angad again tells Sahiba that he has seen the lifelessness in Seerat's eyes and just wants to make her life better.

He further states that he has seen the way the Monga family is suffering but Sahiba counters him, announcing that she is here to support her family through everything.

They both stop talking as they realize that Santosh, Ajeet, and Tayji are standing.

Just then, Sahiba accuses Angad of bringing her home so he can present his viewpoint to her family.

However, Angad shouts that he did not want his wife to roam the streets late at night which is why he dropped her home.

After Angad leaves, Ajeet tells Sahiba that he is also against this idea but Santosh announces that now Angad's idea is making sense to her.

On the other hand, in Brar mansion, Jasleen makes Gary understand that this wedding is a golden ticket for Gary to return to Brar mansion.

Meanwhile, Gray announces that he cannot marry the Shimplapuri girl since she is of lower class compared to him.
