Today's Teri Meri Dooriyaan 24th July 2023 episode starts with Simran requesting Angad if she can sleep between him and Sahiba.

Angad agrees with Simran while his eyes find Sahiba who is looking at him with unwavering eyes.

Hearing Angad, Simran says that they will have to remove the strings which are dividing the bed into two halves.

Angad slowly nods saying they will remove them while Sahiba also gives him an approving nod with a smile appearing on her lips.

The two remove the strings together and they sleep peacefully on the bed with Simran lying between them.

Later in the night, Simran wakes up feeling hungry, and seeing Sahiba sleeping, she doesn’t wake her up.

Going to the kitchen, Simran takes a bottle of milk out of the fridge while Jasleen also arrives in the kitchen startling Simran.

The bottle falls down from Simran’s hand making Jasleen start shouting at her and accusing her of stealing.

The ruckus in the kitchen makes everyone gather in the kitchen where Jasleen taunts Sahiba to keep her charity work outside the house.

Inder snaps at Jasleen when she keeps calling Simran an orphan, again and again, making him lose his temper.

Japjyot announces that Simran will stay respectfully in the Brar mansion till she gets admission into a good school.

As the members retire to their rooms, Angad thanks Inder for supporting Simran when Jasleen was shouting at her.

Further, Angad takes Simran to his room while Sahiba stays to fetch milk for Simran.

Seeing Simran’s fallen face, Angad makes her laugh using different tactics and Sahiba also joins them.

Simran thanks Angad for saving her and asks him and Sahiba about the festival in which the brother protects his sister.

Sahiba tells Simran that the festival is called Raksha Bandhan while Simran brings the strings they had removed earlier from the bed and use them as a Rakhi.

She ties the strings on Angad’s wrists saying Angad has protected her like a brother today.

When Angad asks her what gift she wants, Simran asks him to find her father which worries Sahiba.

As the three go to sleep again, Sahiba feels relieved inside thinking that Angad already considers Simran as his sister, and after knowing the truth he will be able to accept her fully.

On the other hand, Inder is tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep.

With a troubled look, he sits up in the bed while Manveer wakes up and asks him what's the matter.

Inder dismisses her while she asks him to sleep.

The next morning, Sahiba brings Simran to meet Inder.

Seeing Inder, Simran recognizes him as "Acche vale uncle" who saved her from "Gandi vali aunty" (Jasleen).

Inder gifts a dress to Simran seeing which she gets happy and asks him what she should call him as he is Angad’s father.

Sahiba looks troubled while Inder, in a flow of emotions, tells Simran that she can call him Papa when suddenly Manveer hears all of this.
