Today's Teri Meri Dooriyaan 5th July 2023 episode starts with Keerat watching the video and agreeing with Sahiba on call that she does not own any snake-designed ring.

Sahiba hears some noise and goes to check but does not find anything and returns to telling Keerat that she will talk to the government lawyer that was suggested to her.

On the other hand, Angad is talking to the lawyer asking if he knows the judge and requesting to fix a meeting with the judge.

Seerat comes there and gives tea to Angad telling him that he should drink it since he has been awake since the night.

The next morning, Sahiba talks to the government lawyer and convinces him to help her prove Akaal innocent since he has been framed.

Meanwhile, the family lawyer takes Angad to meet the judge overlooking the case who misinterprets the situation and accuses Angad of trying to fix the case.

Later, Sahiba comes to the police station with the lawyer and shows the ring that the girl is wearing in the video telling the police officer that she has never seen the ring in her life.

The police officer tells her to fight for herself as it will inspire many women while Sahiba states that people's faith will be lifted from the police if Akaal is jailed for being innocent.

At the same time, the Brar family is also at the police station to talk to Akaal telling him to not feel so sad as Angad will get him out soon.

Japjyot brings out the tiffin for Akaal while another police officer comes there and stops her stating that outside food is not allowed.

Angad starts to argue but Inder stops him saying that the situation is not in their favor.

Seeing Sahiba there with her lawyer, Seerat rebukes her for not being able to get Akaal bailed while Sahiba states that nothing can be done until the case is in court.

Japjyot cries telling Sahiba that she'll be punished while Angad and Seerat make her leave.

Angad wonders why Sahiba was there with her lawyer while Seerat states that she had told him Sahiba creates problems herself and then solves them to look cool.

Elsewhere, Sahiba asks her lawyer Prabhat if he knows who the judge is and he nods giving her the judge's name and asking her what she intends to don

Later, Sahiba arrives at the judge's cabin to meet him but is refused entry by the police guarding the entry.

She calls Keerat and tells her to come there.

At the Brar house, the family shouts for Japjyot and tries to convince her to open the door as she has locked herself in her room.

Jasleen scolds Angad for not completing his promise of getting Akaal out of jail which creates an argument between her and Manveer.

Seerat talks to Japjyot through the door and convinces her to open it while getting her a juice to drink.

She apologizes to Japjyot and the rest of the family on Sahiba's behalf stating that everything will be back to normal.

She tells Japjyot that she has vowed to not eat or drink anything until Akaal is out of jail making her the best bahu in everyone's eyes.

Back in the court office, Keerat and Veer arrive and Sahiba tells them to help her distract the guards.

Veer suggests singing while Keerat scolds him saying that it won't work.
