Today's Teri Meri Dooriyan 16th October 2023 episode starts with Jasleen telling the family that they better make Angad understand that he killed Sahiba and also states that the next day the court will declare the same.

However, Inder tells Jasleen that Angad is innocent, when Jasleen draws a comparison between Angad and Garry, stating that Garry beat Seerat, but never killed her.

Seerat tells Jasleen to not compare Angad and Garry since Angad is better, adding that she hopes he comes back to her.

Manbeer tells the family that Seerat is better than Sahiba since she has never fought with Angad, while Jabjot tells Manbeer that Sahiba's fight with Angad was never meaningless. 

In the meantime, Akaal urges everyone to not fight and asks everyone to think about how to save Angad, further stating that the inspector thinks that someone is trying to frame Angad.

The next morning, Angad is led out so that he can be seated in the police car but stops when the media asks him if he thinks of getting bailed out.

Just then, Inder and Veer come to Angad through the journalist crowd and assure him that everything will be fine.

Inder tells Angad that in the court he must mention that he didn't kill Sahiba, adding that even the inspector has mentioned that he's being framed. 

After a while, Angad walks forward to the jeep when Romi's image comes to his mind, leading him to gain clarity all of a sudden.

On the other hand, in a secluded corner of a forest, Sahiba comes to her senses and sees herself tied down to a chair.

Sahiba scaredly calls out for help, making Romi sing a song and soon come in front of her, to Sahiba's shock.

Outside the jail, Angad sits in the police car with the policeman, when Angad thinks to himself if Romi has murdered someone and put the blame on him.

Angad then thinks about Romi not boarding the flight to New York and amidst all this, the police car starts pacing forward.

Meanwhile, Sahiba asks Romi about his presence since he is supposed to be in New York, leading Romi to tell him that he never boarded the airplane.

Sahiba asks Romi to untie her, after which she terms him a terrorist, but Romi tells Sahiba that she's his one-way ticket, adding that he'll not release her.

Meanwhile, Manbeer, Seerat, Jaspal, and Akaal wait for Angad, when Manbeer cries begging Akaal to bail out Angad since he hasn't killed Sahiba.

Akaal tells Manbeer to not worry since he's trying, adding that if god wants everything will be fine.

Manbeer cries inconsolably, while Seerat tells Manbeer that after Angad's bail, they'll go to the Gurdwara. 

Suddenly, Ajeet and Keerat come in stating that they too will go to the gurdwara to pray for Sahiba's soul.

Meanwhile, Ajeet confronts Akaal that even if they pray to god for Angad, he will still be punished since he killed Sahiba.

Akaal comforts Ajeet stating that he can understand his pain, but Ajeet tells Akaal that he and Manbeer are responsible for Sahiba's death.

This shocks Seerat, while Ajeet tells Akaal that he will open up about Angad in court so that he can be punished for killing Sahiba who was his dearest daughter.
