Today's Teri Meri Dooriyan 5th November 2023 episode starts with Seerat suddenly stopping Sahiba as she is about to sign the divorce papers, stating that she wants to record the moment.

Saying so, Seerat walks forward to get her phone from the room while Manbeer orders Sahiba to sign the papers leading Sahiba to near the papers when Akaal asks Sahiba to stop.

Akaal states that Manbeer cannot force Sahiba into signing the divorce papers but Manbeer answers back, stating if Sahiba and Angad could be married forcefully then they must be divorced too.

He states that Angad and Sahiba have the right to make their own decisions but Manbeer tells Akaal that she will make the decision being Angad's mother. 

Akaal advises Manbeer not to make decisions regarding Angad or his relationship since children might know better at times.

Jasleen looks emotionally at Akaal while Akaal urges Manbeer to emphasize being acceptable to change.

Inder gets emotional too since Akaal has mentioned the importance of change, making Akaal state that just as he destroyed his and Jasleen's life, he won't do it with Sahiba and Angad.

Akaal asks Sahiba to decide to divorce herself, adding that whatever she decides will be asked of Angad.

In the room, Angad recalls Sahiba hugging and understands that Sahiba loves him but gets confused since Sahiba thinks he likes Seerat thus deciding to talk to her.

Downstairs, Sahiba tells Akaal that she wants to talk to Angad, making Akaal tell Inder to call Angad and Inder agrees.

On the other hand, Angad asks himself if he should take the risk of talking to Sahiba when the lights suddenly go out. 

In the drawing room, Jabjyot too gets shocked by the lights going out since the day Sahiba's power-giving ceremony was organized lights went out too.

On the other side, Angad wonders what happened to the lights and calls Sukhdeep to switch the inverter on when he recalls Jabjot's fear regarding the lights going out too.

In the meantime, Inder calls Angad but since Angad's phone is in the room he doesn't get any response from him.

Inside, Seerat gets excited to record since Sahiba will sign the divorce papers, ultimately deciding that she'll manipulate Angad to sign the divorce papers.

Seerat decides to go forward and talk to Angad who on the other hand while searching his phone discovers that it has run out of charge.

After a while, Angad spots Seerat searching for him whom he thinks to be Sahiba while Seerat thinks if she should confess to Angad about her identity. 

Angad states that he wants to talk to her since she leaves him confused while Seerat thinks that she should take advantage of Angad's anger to sign the divorce papers.

Since Angad thinks that Sahiba isn't talking to him, he turns her to his side when the lights come on.

Seeing Seerat, Angad chides her for not revealing that she's not Sahiba when Seerat tells him that she was about to tell him, adding that she will call in Sahiba and runs out.

Angad notices Seerat running out when it dawns upon him that it was Seerat instead of Sahiba that night.

He asks Seerat to stop ultimately coming forward when he accuses her of feigning to be Sahiba that night.

Seerat disagrees but he tells her to give her explanation to the family.

Meanwhile, Inder asks Veer to call Angad when Sahiba states that she'll talk to Angad but Manbeer stops her.

Akaal tells Manbeer to let Sahiba go but Manbeer decides to call Angad herself as he has denied Sahiba's advances before.

Suddenly, everyone hears Seerat asking Angad to listen to her who ultimately comes in adding to Sahiba's confusion.
