Today's Udaariyaan 26th September 2022 episode starts with Renuka getting a call from Mrs Malhotra who shocks her by rejecting Malika as Gautam liked Nehmat as compatitive to Malika.

Meanwhile, Renuka recalls Naaz's advice of not sending the bride’s friends near potential grooms.  

At the same time, Ekam video calls Nehmat and talks with her lovingly while Renuka glares at him from the window.

In Sandhu’s house, Naaz gets jealous of Nehmat getting marriage proposals from wealthy families.

In college, Nehmat curses Gautam for liking her and Malika expresses her desire of having a perfect relationship like Ekam and Nehmat.

Later, Malika takes Ekam and Nehmat to a street astrologer and the astrologer predicts that a close person will come between Malika and her love interest and will refrain them from uniting.

Hearing the prediction, Malika gets disturbed but before she can ask anything else Ekam gets a call from her mother.

Going back to Randhawa's house, Renuka taunts Malika and Ekam for roaming with Nehmat and calls her an attention seeker.

Upset Renuka orders Malika to stay away from her friend as she is responsible for Gautam's refusal.

On the other hand, Nehmat is talking to Fatejo’s pic and asks them if they would have married her off early like Malika and imagines them talking in their room.

Recalling Fatejo, Nehmat cries and imagines Fatejo talking about their daughter and choosing an ideal man who will take care of her and support her in every decision.

In Randhawa's house, Ekam tells his mother about his unconditional love for Nehmat but blinded by Naaz’s words Renuka exclaims that Nehmat will destroy Malika and Ekam’s life.

In Nehmat’s room, Nehmat tells Fatejo that she has found her ideal man in Ekam.

At midnight, Ekam has a nightmare of Jay putting his revolver on his head while Renuka tries to stop Jay and a bullet fires in the air waking Ekam up.

The next morning, Nehmat is worried about Ekam and finds him sitting on a bench alone.

Nehmat holds Ekam’s hand lovingly and asks him if he had the same dream and hugs him.

Nehmat tries to pacify him when Ekam nods in yes and requests him to share his sorrows with her.

However, Ekam tells her they can only see and touch their sadness like palm lines but they cannot erase them.

Nehmat's heart breaks at Ekam's condition and she hugs him tightly.
