Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 10th October 2023 episode starts with Arjun asking Mahima why she left R&J Company, leading her to lie stating that since she wanted to live with her family, she came back but from then,  she hasn’t found any opportunity to work.

After that, Mahima tries to convince Arjun to give a last chance to her as she wants to show her capability to him.

 Arjun tells her that he will keep her on the job initially on a probation basis, and then after analyzing her performance, he will give her permanent work.

Meanwhile, Nitya asks her junior to assign Kashvi as her assistant for the next project.

He goes to Kashvi and tells her that Nitya wants Kashvi as her assistant, making Kashvi happy, further stating that it's a great opportunity for her to work with Nitya as she will get to learn a lot many new things from her.

Nitya then assigns her work and orders her to complete it by evening, when she remembers that Kashvi has to go to dinner with her friends.

She says Kashvi to adjust because work is more important to her while Arjun brings Mahima along with him at the construction site.

Arjun then receives a call from Kashvi, who asks him to arrive early for the dinner because she will be late due to her work Arjun asks her to send him the location.

On the other hand, Mahima cuts the wire of the digger machine so that she can show her smartness in front of him, while everyone says that they cannot bring a new digger machine today so they have to halt it.

Meanwhile, Mahima goes and starts digging manually while Arjun gets impressed by her idea and he also joins her in digging.

Meanwhile, Kashvi goes to a dinner party with her friends and they feel overwhelmed to see her there.

She calls Arjun to ask him where is he whereas Arjun and his team still work at the construction site.

Mahima sees Kashvi's call coming on Arjun's phone so she switches it off, while Kashvi feels worried for him.

On the other hand, Mahima gives paper wipes to Arjun to clean his face and he tries to clean it but it doesn't get cleaned by him.

Arjun asks Mahima to clean it, making her ask a worker to clean it, which makes Arjun ask Mahima why didn't she clean it.

Mahima then tells Arjun that since she does not want any misunderstanding between them, she is trying to maintain distance from him.

On the other hand, Kashvi's friend asks about Arjun and tries to make her feel bad by saying that Arjun is a loser.

However, Kashvi defends him, further telling her friends that Arjun is handling his biogas project and he is more wealthy than them.

Kashvi's friends don't believe her, thus leading Kashvi to clear everything up, stating that it's good that Arjun didn't come.

After that, she also goes from that place while on the other hand, the construction work is about to be complete.

Arjun asks his workers to lay the pipeline, but the workers state they are tired and Mahima tries to cheer the workers up so that they can continue the work.
