Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 13th March 2023 episode starts with Samrat assuring the kids that he would definitely succeed in convincing Nayantara to play Holi with him.

Later, everyone celebrates Holi by applying bright colours of colour on each other.

However, Samrat stops Ishaani from applying colour on Nayantara, demanding that he deserves to be the first one applying colour on her, being her husband, and brightly proceeds to put colour on her.

Nayantara stops him from doing the deed, glaring at him and warning him to not put colour on her or else suffer the attack of pepper spray, which would sting his eyes painfully.

The kids uncontrollably laugh at Samrat, seeing his failed attempt.

He shoos them away, still determined to play Holi with Nayan.

In the corner, Mansi scowls seeing Samrat’s trials to play Holi with Nayan, and wickedly smiles thinking that after Nayan is intoxicated under the effects of the Bhaang, he would only look at Mansi and forget all about Nayantara.

Afterward, Malti lovingly gifts Samrat a chain, which Samrat graciously accepts.

Nayan notices this and after he leaves, she asks Malti how she has managed to gift Samrat such an expensive chain.

It is then that she spots that Malti doesn't have her bangles on, which gives out the answer that she has sold her bangles to gift Samrat a chain, as she didn’t have any other means to acquire such a large amount.

Malti brushes Nayan’s worry away and tells her to enjoy the festival of Holi while she is at it.

On the other hand, Ishaani requests Mohit begin their relationship anew with the festival of Holi, but Mohit is just unable to forget the past of seeing her with Raghav.

Suddenly, they are playfully attacked by the kids, loaded with their water guns, and they forget their talk and run after them.

Meanwhile, Samrat manages to corner Nayan and apply colour to her, while gazing at her affectionately.

Nayan loses herself in his charms as she remembers that she has been applied colour by Samrat, now smiling mischievously at her, with the kids cheering at Samrat’s victory in the corner.

The atmosphere is filled with happiness as they all dance together with each other, forgetting their siege.

Amidst this, Alia tells Mansi, who is busy watching Samrat and Nayan enviously that this is the right time to mix bhaang in Nayan’s drink, which is about to be served.

On the other hand, Samrat approaches Malti and gifts her bangles, requesting her to accept them as a son-in-law’s token of love.

Malti politely accepts it and adores the bangles which Ishaani helps her in wearing.

Nayantara is impressed seeing Samrat’s thoughtfulness and gives him a small smile.

They all resume dancing to the beats of the song after having the cold drink or "Thandai".

The thandai is served to everyone and Mansi and Alia smile at each other evilly, seeing Nayan drinking thandai.

However, the glass mixed with bhaang is actually taken by Alia, who soon starts acting weirdly by oscillating from one place to another in her intoxicated state.

Mansi is horrified seeing Alia acting this way, realizing that Alia is the one who has drunk the thandai mixed with bhaang.
