Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 16th September 2023 episode starts with Mahima telling everyone that she will not continue the wedding functions until Kashvi asks for an apology from her the way she wants.

After saying this she goes from there and Romila follows her, asking Mahima whether she means what she said outside.

Mahima says that she wants to show that Kashvi is inferior to her while Romila says that she is surprised to see the tricks which Mahima is using to cancel the wedding.

On the other hand, Nitya asks Kashvi to apologise to Mahima the way she wants but Kashvi disagrees and says that she will not support the wrong things so she will not apologize to her.

Dadi asks Kashvi to apologize to Mahima as Nitya is right this time and requests Kashvi for the same.

After that, Kashvi goes from there and Arjun follows her from behind till she reaches the room.

He tries to console her when Kashvi starts crying, adding that she has not done anything wrong.

Arjun says that he knows the truth therefore Kashvi doesn't need not to give him an explanation when Kashvi says that if her mother was alive today then she would have also asked her to do the things that Mahima wants.

Arjun says that he will not allow her to do so as she is not wrong and they know that Mahima is lying.

Kashvi says that she knows Mahima's attitude but she is worried about Mohit as he is a nice man and she does not want this wedding to break at any cost.

Arjun gets angry at Mahima and goes from there while Jagdish argues with Dadi about why she asked Kashvi to ask for an apology from Mahima.

Dadi tells him that it's Mahima's trick to cancel the wedding but has put the blame on Kashvi's head so that people can assume that Kashvi is the reason behind it.

She mentions that she wants Mahima to get married and leave this house as early as possible because unless she goes from here, she will keep on trying to come between Kashvi and Arjun.

On the other hand, Kashvi remembers her mother and father while holding their photo and cries when Jagdish appears there.

He tries to console her and tells her to do things as per her will as he is there to support her in any condition. Jagdish mentions that Kashvi means to him more than a daughter so he will always support her and he advises her not to take so much stress.

She says that other family members are misunderstanding her ego but they are not able to see her innocence.

Meanwhile, Jagdish asks her to recall whether she purchased an expired box but she says that she is one hundred per cent sure that she bought the fresh pack.

Later the next morning, Nitya says that Mahima is not having breakfast till then Mohit comes there.

He says that Mahima has called him here then Mahima comes there and returns the engagement ring to him.

She says that Kashvi didn't ask for an apology so she is breaking the marriage then Mohit gets angry and he goes from there.

Arjun scolds Mahima for portraying Kashvi as the culprit while Kashvi remains silent and Arjun tells Kashi to go to her office as she doesn't have much time to waste on meaningless people.

On her way to the office, Kashvi's driver stops the car when she asks him about it.
