Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 17th May 2023 episode starts with a worried Pradyuman asking Nitya about the police force in his office.

Nitya tells him that she is here to arrest Samrat Chaudhary for putting Supreeti Saree Centre on fire.

Shocked by the police force along with Nitya in his meeting room, Samrat asks her about the reason for her presence in his office.

Samrat is ARRESTED

Nitya tells Samrat that he is under arrest for intentionally putting Supreeti saree shop on fire.

Samrat refuses to believe her claim and tells her to arrest the real culprit involved in the crime.

The board members taunt Samrat for his act although he tries to make them understand that he is being framed but fails.

Nitya tells Samrat that he is free to take legal action but he needs to cooperate with the police.

Pradyuman assures Samrat to not overstress as he will get the lawyers to him at the earliest.

Meanwhile, Kashvi is crying thinking about Arjun’s action regarding Mahima the last night.

However, Arjun surprises Kashvi and asks her about her whereabouts and tells her to speak her mind to him.

Arjun gets lost seeing Mahima enjoying her juice in the kitchen and walks to Mahima and asks her about her health while he pulls Kashvi to sit as well.

However, Kashvi feels awkward and tries walking out but stops after hearing the news about the arrest of Samrat Chaudhary in the case of Supreeti Saree Centre.

Kashvi is in disbelief and rushes to find the culprits behind the evil act and leaves with Arjun.

In the meantime, Pradyuman visits Nayan’s house and is shocked to find Mahima and seeks a favour from her.

He tells her that Samrat is innocent and is being trapped in a false case and tells her that she can ask for anything in return from her.

Mahima asks out Pradyuman on a date

Mahima asks him if they can go for a coffee whenever he is free and he accepts the proposal.

However, Nayan is shocked to see Pradyuman and Mahima talking to each other and asks Mahima about his presence at their doorstep.

Mahima tells Nayan excitedly that she wants to get married to him while Nayan asks her about Arjun and realises that Mahima is unaware of Arjun’s feelings for her.

Nayan is worried about this dilemma of feelings and hearts intertwined.

On the other hand, Kashvi and Arjun visit Samrat in the jail.

Samrat bashes Kashvi for framing him in the false case and tells her that even he can accuse her of framing the case since he forgot his coat in her shop.

Further, Samrat tells Kashvi that when he can hire people for doing everything on his behalf why would he do something that will put him at risk.

Kashvi assures Samrat that she will try her best to prove him innocent and needs a little time for doing so.

Later, Kashvi visits her shop along with Arjun and he questions Kashvi for going out of her way to prove the owner innocent and suggests she not get involved and let the police do their work.

Irked by his questions, Kashvi tells him that Samrat has done so much for her and feels the honesty in his eyes.

She further tells him that he gave her the ownership rights to make her future secure only after meeting Romila once.

In the meantime, a beggar passes by and Kashvi rushes to him to give him the money.

He tells her that he knows the culprits who put her shop on fire intentionally.

Kashvi finds the evidence!

Kashvi and Arjun are shocked to hear him accuse two people behind the act.

Further, Kashvi shows Samrat’s picture to the beggar and he denies seeing him on the spot the last night.

She requests him to come along with them to the police station and requests him to get an innocent man out of jail but he refuses.

Kashvi gets stressed as she has no evidence to prove Samrat innocent while Arjun comforts her.

Arjun finds the CCTV camera and tells Kashvi that they can find the footage of the culprits and goes to the CCTV guy.

Kashvi requests the guy to show them the CCTV footage to help them find the culprits.

Further, Kashvi finds the two goons putting the shop on fire and is relieved to find the evidence for Samrat.

Arjun asks Kashvi to visit the police station but she tells him that she needs to see Nayan as she must be stressed about her.

Kashvi joyfully visits Nayan and tells her that Samrat Chaudhary is innocent and requests her to visit the police station with her to take the complaint back.

Nayan is shocked to hear Samrat Chaudhary is the owner of the mall.
