Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 18th May 2023 episode starts with Kashvi joyfully telling Nayan that the mall owner Samrat Chaudhary is innocent.

Nayan is shocked to find Samrat Chaudhary as the mall owner and feels like her world has turned upside down.

Her old memories with Samrat take over her mind and tears flow down her face.

Nayan asks Kashvi if she has spoken her name to Samrat and is relieved that Samrat is unaware of her existence.

Kashvi shows the CCTV clip to Nayan which shows the two goons putting their shop on fire and shows Samrat’s picture on the phone as well.

Nayan takes the phone from her and looks adorably at Samrat’s photo and stares at it with all the emotions encompasses in her heart.

She, further, realises that it was the same coat which Kashvi wore the other day when she hugged her and thus she felt Samrat’s presence then.

Nayan pleads with Vishawanathan to help her keep Kashvi away from Samrat.

Kashvi requests Nayan to come along with her to the police station to get an innocent Samrat out of jail but Nayan refuses.

Kashvi takes Nayan to the police station but Nayan tells Kashvi that she isn’t feeling well and needs to rest.

Nayan says that Nitya is in the police station and will help her out with the procedure while she stays outdoors.

Samrat is released

Meanwhile, Nitya apologises to Samrat for arresting him although Samrat praises her for doing her work so religiously.

Samrat asks Nitya how he got out of jail and Nitya credits Kashvi for finding the evidence for helping him out.

He tells Kashvi that he trusted her and knew that she will get him out and pats his hand over her head with love.

Samrat tells her that she is just like her mother and Nayan sheds a happy tear to see the loves of her life together.

Kashvi gets teary-eyed as Samrat appreciates her mother for her upbringing.

Samrat tells Kashvi that he would love to meet her mother but Pradyuman comes in between and embraces him with a sigh of relief.

In the meantime, Nayan admires Kashvi and Samrat and mumbles to herself that she can feel their connection with each other.

On their way out of the station, Samrat thanks Kashvi for believing in him but Kashvi tells him that this is very small in comparison to things he has done for her.

Meanwhile, Nitya pats Nayan’s back and tells her that Samrat is innocent and released applauding Kashvi's efforts.

Nitya tells Nayan that she needs to talk to her about Arjun and Mahima.

She further states that she always liked Kashvi over Mahima and reminds her of her sacrifice to bring Mahima as her own.

Nitya proposes Arjun for Mahima!

Nitya says that Arjun loves Mahima and proposes to Arjun for Mahima and recommends their wedding in the future.

Nayan is stressed as she wonders about Mahima’s love for Pradyuman while Kashvi hears their conversation accidentally and tears roll down her face naturally.

Further, Nayan tells Nitya that she will talk to Mahima and let her know about her decision.

Nitya hugs Nayan excitedly and tells her that their dream of becoming a family will be turned into reality.

Meanwhile, Kashvi tries controlling her emotions and feels her heart aching and Arjun joins her.

Arjun apologizes to Kashvi for not telling her the truth about his love as he was afraid of losing Mahima.

Kashvi tells Arjun that he used her pretty well while Arjun gets offended by her remark.

Further, Kashvi asks Arjun when did he develop feelings for Mahima and he excitedly tells her that he loves Mahima immensely since childhood, unaware of Kashvi’s pain.

Arjun tells Kashvi to support him and grabs her hand and walks toward their home.

Kashvi mumbles to herself that though she is not his love but will always stand by him.
