Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 20th July 2023 episode starts with Kashvi holding the condom packet and giving Arjun angry looks while Arjun avoids eye contact with Kashvi as he feels uncomfortable.

Arjun meets Kashvi's bestfrind

Kashvi questions Arjun's peculiar behaviour because it's only a condom and she blames him for ruining her cake.

Arjun apologizes to Kashvi and offers to make her eat a lovely dessert downstairs.

Meanwhile, Nitya presents Jagdish Bauji's photo frame on the occasion of his 10-year death anniversary while Jagdidh appreciates Nitya's thoughtful efforts to cheer him up.

However, Jagdish goes to freshen up when Nitya stares at the photo frame and smiles evilly, mumbling that she has successfully kept Bauji's death hidden for ten years and pats herself on the back for her efforts.

Arjun and Kashvi go to a dhaba and go through the menu when Kabir shouts out to Kashvi while Kashvi jumps in delight and hurries to hug Kabir.

Arjun grows envious 

Kashvi approaches Kabir and they begin talking about their lives when Arjun interrupts and asks Kashvi to introduce him.

Kashvi smiles and introduces Kabir as his best buddy since school while Arjun feels jealous seeing Kashvi holding Kabir's hand.

Arjun leaps in between and shakes hands with Kabir asking Kashvi to eat first because they've come a long way up here.

Kashvi asks that Kabir join them and eat as well and Kabir assures that he will absolutely join her because it is his restaurant.

Arjun, on the other hand, continues to correct Kabir to Dhaba whenever he refers to it as a restaurant while Kashvi holds Kabir's hand and leads him to their table.

Arjun continues to be envious of Kabir and Kashvi as they sit next to each other.

Meanwhile, Bauji's caretaker sends him to bed while telling him to take him to the lakeside tomorrow. 

Kabir embraces Kashvi in his sweet words

Kashvi informs Kabir that she will be in Haridwar for Nayan and Samrat's Asti- Visarjan to which Kabir extends his hand and consoles her with his sweet words.

Arjun remains unhappy as he sees Kabir holding Kashvi's hand while Kabir appreciates Kashvi's determination to become a civil officer.

As the dinner arrives, Kabir promises them the best food in Haridwar but Arjun mocks Kabir for emphasizing his own 'Dhaba' quality.

Kashvi then questions Kabir about his love life to which Kabir looks at Kashvi and claims that he had planned to propose to Kashvi previously, which surprises both of them.

Kabir refers to Kashvi as his life's love while Kashvi laughs loudly and informs Arjun that Kabir always cracks jokes.

Arjun notes Kabir's appearance and mutters to himself how he can tell Kabir is still in love with Kashvi.

Kabir then tells Arjun that he is a very fortunate person to have a partner like Kashvi and asks him to take good care of her to which Arjun responds in anger.

Arjun assures Kabir that he too is Kashvi's best friend and that they are meant to be together.

Arjun acts rudely with Kabir

However, the waiter then summons Kabir from the kitchen and as he walks away, Arjun pushes the plate aside and declares that he dislikes the food.

After a while, Kabir returns and assures Kashvi that he has brought her favourite sweet 'Gulab Jamun' and claims to feed her with his own hands.

Arjun becomes envious and intervenes eating the first bite from Kabir while insisting Kashvi go wash her hands first.

As Kashvi walks away, Kabir tells Arjun that it makes him happy to see Arjun so in love with Kashvi and so protective of her.

Arjun rejects this while Kabir believes that this is how human psychology works and that it is typical for boys to be envious when they see their partner with someone else.

Kabir then cautions Arjun not to ever harm Kashvi which angers Arjun and causes him to grab his collar but when Kashvi returns, they both act normally. 

Kabir insists that she return while Arjun walks out holding Kashvi
