Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 20th March 2023 episode starts with Samrat approaching Nayantara to ask why she asked Mansi to stay away from Prem.

Nayantara adds to it the reason for Mansi almost hitting Prem with an iron rod.

Prem too agrees with her and supports Nayantara and she says that she respects Samrat's feelings for Mansi but at first they should behave like proper parents.

Samrat then goes on to ask why Mansi did such a thing while Mansi says that it is her way to teach discipline to Prem and never intended to actually beat him.

Samrat and Mohit discuss it when Samrat gets very angry with Mansi as both are determined to do something against Mansi.

At the dinner table, Malti proposes to fix a date for Mohit and Ishani's marriage.

When Aliya coughs, Ishani asks if it is a joke to her and Aliya reminds them about Ishani and Raghav spending the night together, making Mohit leave the table. 

Ishani asks him about his will of not wanting to marry her and Mohit agrees to it and Ishani gets very upset.

Mohit cannot forget Raghav's case and so he cannot marry her.

Ishani believes in Mohit but she asks him to not pity her anymore and she breaks the engagement as she opens and throws the ring at him.

Aliya is happy because once Ishani broke Aliya and Mohit's relationship and is getting the same karma.

At night, Mansi asks Nayantara to move as she will marry Samrat so she will sleep with him and Prem.

Samrat also enters and Mansi runs to him to propose her request.

However, Nayantara clearly says that for the next 4 months, she is legally Samrat's wife which means only she has the right to stay in the room with them.

Samrat internally feels very proud of Nayantara for fighting against Mansi.

Samrat asks Mansi to listen to Nayantara or else the divorce won't happen easily.

Mansi is determined to take revenge against Nayantara and goes away.

Nayantara in mind says that Samrat will marry Mansi so she has to fight her own battle.

Samrat also in mind says that he will find a way to throw Mansi out of the house and until then, Nayantara has to be strong.

The next morning, the washing lady asks the maid not to give clothes from which stains don't get easily removed.

When Nayantara asks about it, the lady whispers to her about the stain being there from period blood.

The maid says that Mansi gave it to her 2 weeks ago making Nayantara suspicious because how can Mansi have her periods during her pregnancy?

Nayantara investigates the stain and understands that Mansi's pregnancy might be a lie.

She meets Mansi's doctor and asks to see the files and the doctor says that without permission, she can't show her the files.

The doctor asks her to leave as Nayantara thinks of a different plan to see the files.

In the evening, Nayantara meets with Ishani and consoles her about Mohit and asks Ishani to help her since she is suspicious of Mansi.

Both the sisters decide to sneak to the clinic to get a hold of the reports.
