Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 21st July 2023 episode starts with Kashvi and Arjun performing the Asti Visarjan ceremonies for Nayan and Samrat.

Kashvi tenderly holds the pot and after emptying all of the ashes into the Haridwar river, he lets go of the pot as well while her eyes well up with tears.

Meanwhile, Arjun thanks the priest for carrying out the ritual and asks for blessings while the priest bestows happiness on him and Kashvi.

Arjun urges Kashvi to stay here while he gets her some food while Bauji in the wheelchair crosses Arjun in the same area.

Meanwhile, Kashvi climbs up the stairs to reach the top.

However, the wheelchair gets hit by a stone causing Bauji to fall on his chest, but Kashvi saves him beforehand.

Kashvi gets scared to confront Bauji as she places him back in the chair and recalls seeing the same man in Arjun's family photo album where Jagdish informs her about him.

The man thanks Kashvi for assisting Bauji while Kashvi begins probing Bauji and asking him where he has been living.

The man says that he discovered Bauji at Vridh ashram some years ago and has been caring for him ever since while Kashvi exclaims that he is her grandfather.

While Arjun attempts to get breakfast for Kashvi, Kashvi decides to phone Arjun and notify him.

However, a man sees Arjun's phone peeking out of his pocket and seizes the opportunity to steal it.

Kashvi continues to reach Arjun but fails to contact him which annoys her even more, while the man requests Kashvi to hurry since he needs to provide Bauji with medications as well.

The man invites Kashvi to accompany him to the Asharam where she can learn more about Bauji and get vital information while Kashvi panics and wants to wait a little longer.

The man urges Kashvi to send a message to Arjun and accompany her to which Kashvi reluctantly agrees.

Arjun arrives shortly after Kashvi leaves and searches for her.

Arjun reaches into his pocket to retrieve his phone when he realizes it isn't there which causes him to panic even more.

Meanwhile, Pradyuman takes Mahima to his hotel and asks her to wait for Monti gets surprised to see her.

Mahima tells him about her time in this hotel with Pradyuman which amazes Monti and prompts him to question her.

She laments how she made the mistake of leaving Pradyuman and adds that she understood her genuine feelings for him and is ready to marry in Faridabad.

Meanwhile, Kashvi arrives at Asharam and inquires about Bauji to which the manager calmly replies that he confronted Bauji in an accident 10 years ago.

The manager recalls a dangerous car accident in which he found Bauji covered in his own blood against a rock.

He says that he was able to get Bauji to the hospital but the doctor was unable to restore him to normality, leaving him partially crippled due to brain injury.

Kashvi, upon hearing this thanks the manager for doing this nice gesture and assisting Bauji while dialing Arjun's number to notify him but fails.

Meanwhile, Arjun arrives at the hotel and calls Nitya on the reception phone, informing her of his lost phone and learning of Kashvi's disappearance.

Nitya reassures Arjun and urges him on remembering someone Kashvi may have met to which Arjun recalls Kabir and begins chastising him.

Nitya laughs at this and labels Arjun a possessive husband providing Kashvi's phone number so that he can contact her.

Arjun, on the other hand, hurries to Kabir's Dhaba and inquires about him to one of the workers, who informs him about Kabir meeting his friend.
