Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 22nd August 2023 episode starts with Mr. Chandra stating that Arjun's tender getting selected because it was simply better than anyone else's. 

Kaashvi thanks him for clearing the truth while mocking Pradyuman and revealing to the officers that Pradyuman had tried to bribe her. 

Pradyuman gets angry while Kaashvi tells the officers to arrest Pradyuman Thapar as she will submit the CCTV footage and the witness testimony the next day. 

Kavya and everyone else watch as Pradyuman gets taken away who continues shouting that he will return. 

Romila tells Mahima to be a little careful of Kaashvi seeing what happened while Mahima says that she has an idea to use it to her advantage. 

Elsewhere, Jagdish tried to convince Arjun to confess his feelings today but Arjun refuses. 

He tells Jagdish how two people should be equal and states that he plans to become deserving of Kaashvi by growing his business and the bio-gas project. 

Jagdish tries to talk while Arjun says that he wants Kaashvi to be proud of him too in front of society and says that now he will propose to her only when he makes something of herself. 

The next morning, Arjun admires Kaashvi wearing a beautiful white saree while asking her if it's only for her hubby or if is there something special. 

She reveals to him that she has to go to all the places as a chief guest due to Mr. Chandra still not being well. 

He asks her where is she going and upon knowing, gets happy stating that their both destinations are the same, Nekpur. 

On the other hand, Pradyuman gets out of jail with the help of his PM Harish and the lawyer. 

Harish informs him about Kaashvi's chief guest appearances making him smirk as he states that it's the site of the bio-gas plant. 

Back at home, Arjun and Kaashvi are leaving while Monty starts requesting them to take the teenagers with them too. 

Kaashvi finally agrees and tells them to hurry up as Mahima smirks thinking that everything goes according to their plan. 

Flashback shows Mahima bribing Monty to ask Kaashvi and Arjun to ruin their alone time. 

Back in the present, the committee complains to Mr. Mukhya that if the bio-gas plant happens, then they going to lose the grip that they have on the villages. 

Just then, Pradyumam comes there so that he can help them not get the project to work at the village. 

The Mukhiya agrees and makes a deal with him while Pradyuman strikes a deal and makes a perfect plan to remove Arjun from the village and have the project snatched from him. 

On the other hand, Kaashvi falls asleep on the car ride and Arjun puts her head on his shoulder. 

Mahima feels angry seeing this and opens the window making her fly into Arjun's face who gets irritated hearing this. 

He tells her to tie her hair while she complains that they are taking up place making her feel suffocated. 

She turns the window back up again annoyed by while the break making them all move forward. 

Mahima puts her hand on Arjun's thigh while he gets angry and shocked seeing it.
