Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 23rd September 2023 episode starts with Mahima telling everyone that Mohit has finally learned dance steps while Monty does his mimicry.

Arjun takes a stand for Mohit but suddenly someone knocks at the door when he goes to see and finds the Police standing there.

They come inside and Nitya is surprised to see them, telling her that an FIR has been filed against her for murdering a child named Golu.

Nitya explained to them everything that she was on duty and that she couldn't take risks with the dignitaries just to protect one child.

However, the police officer tells her that now case is not in their hand so they cannot do anything as an inquiry committee has been formed against her.

They also tell her that the child's mother has given Kashvi's name as a witness and everyone is shocked after hearing this.

Nitya asks the police if there must be any alternative to escape this when they tell her that it's only possible if Kashvi refuses to accept that she has witnessed all the things.

They tell Nitya that the committee will decide what punishment will be given to her and inform her that all the legal proceedings will start tomorrow.

The Police leave there leading Nitya to start shouting at Kashvi, saying that she will not let Kashvi ruin her career.

Meanwhile, Jagdish asks Arjun to take to her room and asks Kashvi to come with him, he asks her to tell him everything that happened on that day.

She tells him everything when he requests her to decide in favour of Nitya.

After that he goes from there while Kashvi goes to Dadi's room and starts crying, Dadi tries to console her.

She asks her to stand with the truth and explains this path is tough but she should know how to manage.

Dadi gives an example of Nayan who took a stand for the customer while Kevel and Romila were about to break their relationship with her.

In next morning, Nitya gets ready for a court hearing and warns Kashvi from going against her today as her career is very important for her.

After that, she goes to the court and the hearing begins when Nitya gives an example of how many defence people sacrifice their lives just for their country and she also did the same to protect her country's image.

The judge asks Kashvi about the incident while Nitya murmurs that Kashvi will not speak against her but Kashvi says that she feels it's Nitya's fault.

She says that Nitya did not allow Golu's parents to go from the direct route to the hospital and due to that treatment got delayed leading doctors to be unable to protect him.

Nitya says that Kashvi's accusations are baseless when Kashvi says that she does not have much experience like Nitya but she still has humanity in her which Nitya has lost.

Kashvi adds that Nitya is only responsible for Golu's death while Nitya blames her for lying but Kashvi does not listen to her.

After that, they go back home and Nitya scolds Kashvi for going against her.
