Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 24th June 2023 episode starts with Nitya explaining Samrat's inappropriate behavior today, claiming that he should not have acted that way in front of everyone.

Nayan, who is standing next to Samrat agrees with Nitya and tells him that since Kashvi is going to embark on a great journey with Arjun it is best for her to handle things her way.

Samrat agrees to this but stops Nitya and asks why she hasn't given permission for the parking lot outside their store.

Nitya notifies Samrat that she cannot give Smarat permission to build the parking lot because it will have a negative influence on the environment and the municipality will not allow it.

Samrat finds this explanation odd while Nitya confirms that these are written guidelines that she cannot violate.

Meanwhile, Kashvi struggles to make plates out of her saree muttering that civil exams are easier than trying to wear a saree.

Arjun, on the other hand, walks in and seeing Kahvi struggling with her saree tells her that she needs to hurry because all the guests are about to arrive.

Kashvi, still struggling with the saree asks Arjun to assist her while Arjun teases Kashvi by urging her to solicit his help with the saree in a more courteous tone.

Kashvi not having any option requests Arjun politely and Arjun holds the plates of the saree and checks her out from head to toe.

He fixes his attention on Kashvi's waist, resulting in her feeling shy.

Looking at Kashwi's waist, Arjun deems her hot and adds that she is literally a size 0 and wonders how he hadn't noticed this before.

Hearing this, Kashvi takes a step back while Arjun in a broken voice reminds her that he is only complimenting her.

Kashvi, perfecting her saree asks Arjun to go because she can now make her saree herself.

Later, when the ceremony begins everyone presents the gifts to Kashvi while admiring her lovely face.

Then comes Nayan, who, carrying the gift asks Samrat to give it to Kashvi because he is Kashvi's father.

This surprises everyone, so Nayan with a smile explains to them that because Nayan married Samrat, he is officially Kashvi's father.

Samrat and Nayan sit by Kashvi, and Kashvi looks at Samrat and smiles, calling her "Papa."

This delights Samrat, and he congratulates her on embarking on a great journey from now on.

Samrat exits the hall and Nayan follows him asking whether everything is good.

Samrat expresses his excitement at the level of happiness he is experiencing after Kashvi referred to him as "Papa," prompting Nayan to educate Kashvi on the entire truth.

Samrat encourages Nayan to tell Kashvi the truth after her exams since he does not want her to be under pressure because it will affect her studies.

Nayan agrees and they both return to the hall where Nayan, upon seeing Arjun, asks him if he's comfortable with all that's going on.

Nayan also apologizes to Arjun who asks Nayan not to feel guilty on Mahima's behalf 

Meanwhile, Samrat receives a call from Mr. Gupta inquiring about the land estate and the construction of the parking lot, to which Samrat declines the offer due to the environmental risk.

Mr. Gupta provides Samrat with the legal papers for the land and informs him that there is no such problem, prompting Samrat to suspect Nitya of lying.

Arjun awakens startled the next morning as Kashvi crawls over him to silence the alarm.

Arjun gets scared and they both start pillow fighting over how he can call him a bear.

When they grow weary of fighting and glance at each other, they both start giggling making them look very cute.

Meanwhile, Samrat receives a message from Mr. Gupta notifying him of his meeting with the minister about the parking lot.

This perplexes Samrat and he intends to avoid confronting Nitya there.
