Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 28th May 2023 episode starts with Arjun sitting beside Kashvi and praising her as she is doing all the rituals for the shake of her family's beliefs and him and he is very happy to be his would-be husband.

Dadi feels that letting Arjun talk to Kashvi much isn't a good idea so she distracts him.

Meanwhile, Nitya tells Nayantara not to worry and Nayantara says that she isn't worried but very grateful that Mahima is getting married to her house.

But Romila is still not convinced that the girl in the ghunghat is Mahima, she thinks that it's Kashvi so she loudly asks Nayantara about Kashvi and questions her why isn't Kashvi attending the rasam.

Nayantara replies that Kashvi needs rest as she went through an accident.

Romila gets confirmed that the Kashvi is pretending to be Mahima so she approaches to remove the ghunghaat but Dadi saves the situation.

Further, Romila arranges some rocks and put them into the matka.

Bhaisaab gets confused and asks her what is she doing so she replies that the matka will be carried by Mahima so if it becomes heavy she won't be able to carry it and she won't be able to maintain her ghunghat.

She also tells them that inside the ghunghaat it is not Mahima but Kashvi.

Afterwards, Romila comes with the matka and starts insisting Kashvi lift it but Nayantara stops her and tells everybody that she has already decided to lift the matka as her mother so Nitya decides to do the same as well.

Nayantara lifts the matka and places it on her head and realizes how heavy it is but doesn't complain.

Nitya also lifts her matka and they both start to finish the ritual.

Meanwhile, they all go outside as the ritual is to lift the matka on the head and walks through the area.

Romila gets very happy to see Nayantara struggling with the matka.

Nayantara fails to tolerate the weight of the makta and the matka is about to fall but Samrat saves it.

Everybody asks Samrat why is he here and he replies that he was coming from a party and stops by seeing the ritual.

He then suggests to help lift the matka and as he lifts it he understands that it's too heavy.

Samrat asks why is it so heavy and what's inside of this Nitya replies that it's water.

Samrat says water can't be this heavy so he checks and finds rock inside it.

Everybody gets shocked and Nitya says it should be water.

Then, Samrat and Nayantara remove the rocks and share a moment.

On the other hand, Dadi scolds Romila for doing such a thing.

As the rocks are removed, the matka gets filled with water and Nayantara continues the ritual.

After a while, Romila attends to reveal Kashvi's identity again and steps on her ghunghat so and she is about to fall but Samrat catches her.

Samrat sees that the girl isn't Mahima but Kashvi and gets confused.

Further, the ritual gets finished and everybody says their goodbyes. Samrat thanks Dadi and asks Nayantara to go with him to take the papers, and Dadi takes Kashvi to her room.

Romila gets scolded by Bhaisaab as her plan fails.
