Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 2nd August 2022 episode starts with Digvijay telling Kanchan to send Ruhi away from their house as it would traumatize her later.

However, she tells him that Preesha feels good around Ruhi.

Rudra eats the “Ladoo” made by Preesha after one year and recalls how he always loved food made by Preesha.

A flashback of him romancing with her, hits him.

Vidyut enters his room and apologizes for talking to Pihu as the last time he did so, caused troubles for Rudra.

Rudra tells him not to be sorry for anything and shares how lucky few people are to find their beloved and expresses his regrets of not trusting him.

Later, Digvijay informs Armaan that Ruhi is at the Thakur’s which leaves him fuming. 

Ruhi thanks Preesha for feeding her such yummy food and thinks about an idea for staying close to Preesha.

Meanwhile, Armaan asks Ruhi to let him drop her and talks to Preesha about how she is attached to her but she should be careful.

However, she agrees in her heart with Armaan that Ruhi is Rudra’s daughter and he might use him against her.

Ruhi while going to the washroom overhears the conversation happening between the gardener and Kanchan regarding him going out of town for a month on urgent basis. 

She gets an idea and is happy and all excited to plan it with Rudra and Saaransh.

Before going, Ruhi caresses Preesha and gives her a forehead kiss while Preesha adores her back.

Rudra and Armaan throw their attitude at each other when they come across paths.

Rudra asks Ruhi what’s cooking up in her head and why did she go there?

Ruhi tells him that she has built a plan and takes him inside as she wants to share it with Saaransh as well.

Ruhi shares her plan with both of them as how they can stay close to Preesha in detail.

She tells how Rudra has to be a gardener at Thakur's for Preesha.

Rudra and Ruhi get into a very fun argument to watch when she requests him to be dressed as a gardener.

Kanchan notices how happy Preesha is after meeting Ruhi but suddenly they both listen to Pihu shouting.

Back at the Khurana’s, Ruhi and Vanshika take both of them to a makeup studio for his makeover and a magical transformation.

Rudra refuses to apply any makeup but Ruhi manages to convince him as he loves Preesha a lot and would do anything for her.

Kanchan and Preesha goes to see Pihu and are shocked when they enter the room.
