Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 2nd July 2023 episode starts with Samrat entering the room and quickly attempting to corner Nitya claiming that he needs to speak with her about something very urgent.

Nayan encourages Samrat to discuss it later but Samrat forcefully sides with Nitya and questions her about how she can kill Daljit Aunty to which Nitya responds puzzled, asking Samrat who Daljit is.

Samrat orders Nitya to quit acting and reminds her of Shenaz Kaur, Daljit's daughter with whom Nitya used to commit various wrongdoings and bribe people.

This causes Nitya to express horror and ask Samrat how he can falsely accuse Nitya of such acts.

She goes on to say that Samrat's false claims might cause a big schism in the two families' relationship which might be detrimental to their children.

Samrat warns Nitya not to use Kashvi to manipulate him and vows to expose her in front of everyone.

Meanwhile, Mahima joins Veera at her home and expresses her gratitude for getting her out of jail.

However, as soon as Mahima enters the house she begins acting disgustingly, pointing out to Veera how she can live in such an awful and gullible location.

Veera becomes enraged and accuses Mahima of acting like a queen when she has nothing to fantasize about.

Veera asks that Mahima leave if she has a better place to stay to which Mahima hugs and embraces Veera for being such a wonderful and helpful friend.

As Samrat walks aggressively, Nayan stops him and asks him if his problem with Nitya has been settled, making Nitya even more nervous.

Samrat however, mutters about how now is not the time to reveal the truth and, with a smile, informs Nayan that it was work-related and she does not need to worry.

When Nayan notices Samrat not telling her the truth, she relaxes a little, and seeing the chandelier resolves to stop Samrat.

Meanwhile, Arjun delivers Kashvi safety pins and as Kashvi lowers her shawl Arjun asks if she can do it all by herself.

As Kashvi tries to fasten the back of the suit, the pin pierces her finger causing her to scream in pain.

Arjun notices this and grabs Kashvi's finger sucking out the blood as Kashvi stares at Arjun.

Arjun then insists on assisting her in tying the pin and when Arjun sits down, viewing Kashvi's back he becomes lost for a minute.

He concentrates and after securing the pin, he tosses her hair back and asks her to hurry up for the party.

Kashvi asks Arjun if her attire is looking odd to which Arjun responds that her cute smile has the power to distract anyone in the room.

Kashvi grins at the praise and walks out to join the party while wrapping her arms around Arjun's.

Meanwhile, the waiter fears and complains to Nitya about killing Daljit, saying he will be imprisoned if the police discover he was the one who passed the drink.

Nitya calms him down and assigns him another task for more cash, telling him to drop the chandelier on Samrat as soon as he steps under it.

Dadi, on the other hand, searches for Arjun and Kashvi after Romila and Aruna begin chastising the current generation for lacking ethics and principles and leaving to party to make love to each other.

Samrat disagrees with them since Kashvi and Arjun are husband and wife and have the right to privacy.

Nitya, on the other hand, enters and advises that they celebrate their children's love by dancing with Samrat, while Nayan dances with Mr. Bajwa.

As they dance and delight the guests Samrat stands beneath the chandelier, while Kashvi, sensing the Chandelier failing runs and pushes Samrat, who is about to be crushed beneath it.
