Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 31st August 2023 episode starts with Dadi coming to Arjun and saying that she will make him eat two ladoos as he is her favourite Damad.

Suddenly Kashvi comes and quickly puts green chilli in his mouth before Dadi can put ladoo and Arjun eats it thinking that he is eating ladoo but realizes that it's green chilli.

He complains to Dadi that Kashvi always does something mischievous to him and he goes from there.

Dadi scolds Kashvi when Kashvi says that she had only this option because they just had a small fight and since then he has been ignoring her.

Dadi tells her to sort the things and give him some water to drink when Kaashvi goes into the Kitchen and sees that Arjun is drinking water and feeling spicy.

She picks up that chilli plate and starts eating it and says she will eat it until he forgives her as she has done so wrong with him but Arjun says he does not care and goes from there.

Kaashvi is surprised that he is ignoring him and says that she is eating chillies, instead of forgiving he leaves her like this.

Then suddenly Arjun comes and forcefully takes the plate from her hand but she says that she will eat chillies until he forgives her and starts eating again when Arjun forgives her and makes her eat ladoo.

Kashvi says it's both mistakes and Arjun says that they both should eat chillies when Kashvi suggests a better option and brings ladoo to eat.

On the other hand, Mohit asks Dadi if he wants to take Mahima on a date and Dadi allows him.

The next day, Kashvi's mother asks her where Arjun is when she informs her that he has gone for biogas project work.

Suddenly, a news channel telecasts a news report saying that many children are ill after consuming RJ Healthcare medicine, making the whole family tense. 

She asks them if their file was rejected, then how is it possible that their medicine is being supplied in the market and goes for suspicion.

On the other hand, Mohit and Mahima are talking when Pradyumn comes there and tells her fiance that she is a gold digger and only good for timepass but Mohit yells at him and leaves that place with Mahima.

Further, Kashvi reached the office and got to know that her signature was there on the documents along with approval.

She gets shocked, checks the papers, and says that she signed on the rejected file.

Her boss says that he trusts her but now the investigation committee will look after it and Arjun hears their conversation and gets tense.

Further, Mahima asks Mohit why he does not want to know about that man who insulted her, he says that he does not want to make any bad image of her in his mind so he wants to know her on his own not on the basis of someone else's perception.

Dadi hears and says that Mohit is a nice guy and she is happy to see their bond.

Further, Arjun goes to RJ Health Care and gets violent with the owner, asking him about the situation when he calls security but Arjun says he has a deal for him.

On the other hand, Kashvi's parents come there and console her, asking her not to worry as truth always wins.

Till then the inspection committee calls her, informing her that the handwriting expert has tried to check and found no difference between fake and real signs but Kashvi asks them to trust her.

They ask her if she has any evidence or not.
