Today's Yeh Hai Chahatein 6th April 2022 episode starts with the Principal suggesting to call the police.

Rudra agrees and Saaransh’s face falls. Saaransh cannot imagine his mother doing something like this in a million years.

However, the police come and inspect Preesha’s office thoroughly.

They then find drugs inside the chocolate bowl and look at Preesha with utmost disgust.

Preesha’s facial expression becomes extremely uncomfortable.

Dev Chaudhary, Tarun, and their other friend watch all this unfold from outside, peeping through Preesha’s window.

The police are just about to cuff Preesha’s hands but Rudra stops them from doing so.

Ruhi goes to Preesha's office

On the other hand, Ruhi’s classmate teases Ruhi and tells her that her mother will go to jail.

Ruhi immediately leaves her class and goes to Preesha’s office.

Rudra leads Ruhi out for a while because the atmosphere built up is not at all conducive for Ruhi to see Preesha sad.

Rudra suggests they check the CCTV footage

Rudra shows the police and everyone else in the room the same footage.

The footage has Tarun running inside Preesha’s cabin and putting the drugs himself. Rudra suspected this to happen because he saw Tarun earlier waiting keenly outside Preesha’s office.

Rudra immediately grabs a hold of Tarun’s neck when he begins to run and hands him over to the police.

At home, Preesha is still anxious about the whole incident that occurred today at school.

Saaransh tells Preesha that Tarun is Dev’s friend and it could be in fact Dev who encouraged Tarun to do all this.

Meanwhile, Tarun feels dejected as he has been rusticated from the Khurana School.

Dev then resolves to teach Preesha a good lesson she won’t forget; something even bigger.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj is running out of cash to sustain himself.

He cannot even afford to live one night in the hotel he has been staying in and keeps making excuses to the staff to prolong his stay.

Saaransh gets ready in his new uniform

He informs Rudra that he will now study in Khurana School as Ruhi and Preesha are always together without him.

However, no one knows that Saaransh has taken admission also due to Alia’s presence.

Ruhi and Saaransh go to school together and bump into Alia.

Ruhi notices how her brother’s face lights up seeing Alia and gets a tad jealous.

Later, the principal calls up Preesha, Ruhi, and Saaransh into his office. 

It turns out that Rudra is waiting for them with his rockstar jeans and his rockstar guitar.

Rudra's kids' eyes light up seeing their father like this whereas Preesha smirks to herself.
